I think they could release each game for 40 quid each and get good sales. The public is hungry for it.
I would have to agree. Their weaknesses are mostly covered by working within a framework established by the OG game. I am hopeful that it turns out well - which is all most people want. I don't think anyone expects the greatest remake ever, just a decent stab at something they love.
I had the first Net Yaroze showcase demo. There were a few classics on there.

That's very true about some of these practices surviving in indie and mid-tier games. Especially the first point - the idea that "something cool" refined and packaged well will turn a profit. As opposed being built from the ground up to maximise the profit.
Would like to add, you can do dual analog by using two controllers. It's not too bad but you only player two-player max. that way.

SullysCigar - definitely agree on PS3->Upgrade and those who haven't played it before. It's one of the greatest games ever made but a bit better and with all the stuff.
It's a well-made remake but the price of 80 euro/60 pounds/70 dollars is probably keeping a few wallets shut. Even a little less than a brand-new game. Just a tenner say would have made a huge difference.
That's a good point about upping the storage of modern systems. Though it is a solution to a modern problem.
I only ever had two memory cards for PS2. I just deleted stuff when it got full :-\
