The ONLY difference I noticed was slight lighting differences, ps3 color "more" vivid (BARELY, you can tell near the end when they are side stepping, hugging the wall looking down) and better texture filtering for the ps3. I think they are just jealous to be honest...LBP is a game that should be praised. It isnt REVOLUTIONARY but in a sense, its just revolutionary (no caps this time). Nothing has ever been like LBP ever, and MM did a great wonder with it.
I got a 320G HDD for my ps3 for 86 bucks, plus shipping making it around 95 USD.

Point out a game on any other console (OR PC) with 60 players and almost no lag. I'm playing this on my DSL and I dont get any lag unless someone is downloading a video / program at my house.
Oh and play Skirmish mode. Great fun, better than any MP FPS out on console at the moment.

Out of 21 reviews listed on game critics 14 of them were 90 and up, while Variety was the only one to score it the lowest (a 70). R2 is a great game IMO. I'm doing coop right now. Fun stuff.
That's because Boku is like a game maker for dummies in which you can go online and load other peoples creations. LBP is a game in which you make games. It's NOT a game maker, but just a game. I can make a LBP level (a decent 3-5 min long map) in about 5-8 hours, but because Boku throws in the 3rd dimension (and not layers) it will give people the ability to well...screw up over, and over, and over. I can keep going but I have class in about 15 mins, soo bye.
Lets not blame the parents, because ya know, its all of those polygons killing kids these days.
Disc-like media isnt going anywhere. Unless you can get some kind of USB thumb drive that is PERMANENT, it's not going anywhere. Even if you have 1TB HDD's they STILL can be erased or wiped. Keep that in mind.

I love the R2 beta..right now the graphics aren't that great..it IS in beta though so you never know. Then again it plays with no hick ups what so ever. The gameplay is intense, I love it a lot. Especially Coop, it gets intense like a HUGE WoW raid, it plays kind of like one too. Those of you who are being pissy about it. Wait to play it before you complain about it.

GT5:Prologue is HUGE improvement. Like someone said, there WILL be damage, Kazunori Yamauchi (father of the GT games) said before that they will do their best to get car companies to allow full body damage. i don't see why you need to flip over, if you get to that point in any game, you aren't playing it right. GT 5's AI is VASTLY improved also. Try playing it with the AI difficulty set to 100, then come back and tell me the AI sucks, and when you do, you'll be lying. The AI drafts off of you...

You know what game had all those features you mentioned? Resistance 1...Yes..Resistance 1 has more everything than Gears..except Vaseline..they don't have any of that on the walls, sorriez.

But this is one of the worst subjects STILL brought up today. Sony already stated they will keep their PS3 for "ten" years before they make a new console, while Microsoft, in a few years, is going to throw in the towel for a more storage capable console. That IS their biggest downfall (disregarding the RROD). Because even iD says having to work around the 360's lack of HDD standard and its DVD's (also Microsoft's royalties for 2+ DVD games). So microshit is dishing out more money so...
