Its interesting that when Kinect is added to a controller based game as an option its actually the superior option.

Well there probably won't be anymore to see since devs are choosing to makes from the ground up for Kinect instead of just tacking it onto games as an option.

For once preordering early actually made a difference. Feel sorry for those people who thought they could just walk in and buy one, and of cause for all the casuals who aren't even aware of it yet.

Those kinect ads AREN'T the launch ads they are teaser ads, like the Halo:Reach birth of a spartan ads. The true launch ads will show game names, more gameplay, price and bundles.
This is just MS building up awareness.

Not surprising F1 2010 had a lot of TV ads, I've seen it most times I turn the TV on. Halo is a game that sells fast then falls sharply, but still has long legs.
No, cause the people buying kinect won't be buying GT5 and vice versa so neither will have an affect of each other. Although considering how much MS is putting into marketing Kinect GT5 might lose out on some air time.

I got a feeling all the specialised apps (like facebook,last fm, hulu etc) will get Kinect integration.
They will likely make Fable 4 based around the tech.
This isn't going to happen anytime soon the 360S it doing better than the PS3 slim did. PS3 may have momentum but the 360's momentum is far better right now, and with Move failing to be a real system selling and Kinect expected to reach 500K in preorders in the UK alone ( http://www.mcvuk.com/news/4... ,PS3 doesn't have much hope. I said this before the PS3 has a better chance beating the 360 ...

Sorry but the UK is 360 country, its even selling better than the Wii here and has been for a while. The PS3 would have a better chance of outselling the 360 in the US.
Guess we won't be seeing any 360 pricecuts for a very long time then.
Considering nothing much else has come out for the PS3 in september and won't till november, it's safe to say Move is likely all PS3 owners will be playing for the next couple of months.

I hope Sony learns from this, NEVER show a game till its ready or it WILL get delayed. MS and Nintendo know this fact very well since they usually only ever show a new game when its going to be released in a years time so no delays happens.
Sony loves showing games years before they are ready so they look like they have loads of games and then the all just disappear into the next year, like GT5,MGS4,K2, MOVE,SOCOM,LBP2, GOW3, TLG etc etc.

Im with EasilyTheBest I played it too and didn't notice any lag, and all the games i got to play were great fun. In fact it seems the only people who are saying its rubbish are the PS3 fanboys and people who haven't actually tried it. So in other words the jealous ones.
