loved this game. rented it on a whim at blockbuster, and had way too much with it. A pleasant, self-contained title, no massive franchise, just a nice little story and interesting gameplay. Definitely a hidden gem from lest gen.
Halo 2 was the best multiplayer Halo game. But that's, of course, assuming you were alive when it came out.

Funny enough, most games released prior to the 7th generation of consoles were more often than not, released in an actually finished state. Most can be played start to finish, no massive patches, no chunks of the game being chopped off and resold as DLC. They were an actually completed and finished, and fully working product.
Um...Yeah. They actually do. I have beat up SNES/N64, even 32X cartridges and PSX disks scratched to hell that work damn well...And I am far from the only person.
GTA5 will always be the ultimate surprise to me. I was not expecting such incredible looking water, like..at all. Absolutely beautiful.

it actually amazes me what people are capable of. That's perhaps one of the single greatest aspects of open world games, where people really do put blood, sweat, and tears into making something beautiful. wait a second - don't most psychologists sit in armchairs while they evaluate others?
When someone says, "armchair general" or the like - it implies that they've never been "on the frontlines", never in danger, and doing everything from the safety of his office, whereas an armchair psychologist is....still a psychologist, just one that isn't doing jumping-jacks and running around while they evaluate you.
Taking walks, going to a park, being outside for a bit always helps. If you aren't moving, Something happens to your body and mind that is really hard to quantify. I had a motorcycle accident back in October, was in the ICU for 24 days, had 28 broken bones in my face, ripped my thyroid gland, fractured my 5th vertebrae, broke my jaw and voicebox, broke the palate in my mouth and shattered my right patella on my knee, on top of having two frontal hematomas and 12 second degree burns on bot...
Love how their bodies are super detailed and 3d-looking, but their faces look like they were hastily drawn by an overly ambitious 4 yr old with a large, stubby crayon during recess.
