personally my favourite is sixaxis/ds3. Probably just because ive grown so accustomed to the PS layout over the years, 360 controllers are made really badly and the analogue sticks begin to creep after a while, and the d-pad sucks
best d-pad is nintendo's
best controller overall imo is DS3
if 360 controllers were made better and they had a sony/nintendo d-pad then i may change my mind

not trying to sound like a fanboy or anything but i think this just proves what money-grabbing arseholes M$ are. Yes, GTAIV has sold slightly more copies on 360 than PS3...but not enough to warrant this kind of press-release. And once you consider the 'sales-per-console' the 360 is doing comparibly worse.

i dont know if it was on purpose, but they were flying the chopper slower on the 360 version, just made pop up on objects seem less obvious as you're flying towards them. probably an accident, if not, very sneaky tactics indeed

i accepr both consoles are great. the only reason i bought a PS3 over 360 is because ive trusted the playstation brand ever since PS1. I also accept (as a sony fan) that up to this point 360 is more graphically impressive. but it still wont stop me loving my ps3
i dont understand why everyone makes such a big deal out of this, every other review says the ps3 looks better, this is just ONE persons view, and probably a biased one at that

completely agree! its much more rewarding to complete a game by using your own skill and not be aided...atleast on the 1st play through anyway. i dont mind gta cheats when im just pissing about though
on the ps2 theres a cheat which makes you immune to bullets, but other things like falling, explosions and getting run over still hurt you

i remember something about microsoft owning a patent about custom soundtracks which meant it wasnt allowed to be included in ps3 games...:S it was probably fake but just thought id throw it out there

Ninja Gaiden sigma (ps3 exclusive)...looks awesome and runs at 1080p
Ninja gaiden 2 (360 exclusive) ...looks good, but not AS good as NG: Sigma. also it only runs at 640p (which, by the way, is officially standard definition)
GTA4 360: 720p
GTA4 PS3: 640p
Bottom line, its up to the developers. Both consoles are capable of great things
