Hell at this rate I'd take apple or another company as Sony's competitor. As long as their helping the industry grow in the right direction.
Self control bud. Also time allocation. When you have less than 2 hours a day for gaming you tend to choose which game to spend it on wisely. Trust me I'd rather spend that time playing a story driven game of quality than a gaas.

Is there a ps4 version of the game? Also will there be cross play between ps4 and ps5?

Anyone can try it and dismiss it right away. I'm sure there is a fanbase for SF but it's a single player game after all.
This is nothing to celebrate. Watch as they make this a standard. As someone who prides himself on hard work and transparency i don't know how the devs can sleep soundly at night. We gotta do better as consumers. My dad once told me, "never reward the unworthy". And I never have.
