every game gets different reviewers, personally i don't think 'christian science monitor' should have an opinion on any game but they do, and if they shouldn't allow blogs maybe they should also scale down the reviewers scores who have expressed obvious preference for a particular console, to get the 'REAL' score, B.S!, the score is whatever they post, if a bunch of blogs that said this game was sh&^ or another game was sh&^ would you sook because it got marked down?, no.

i reckon, if a game doesn't have a gimmick that reviewers can focus on or obsess about, they focus on the negatives and conclude that every game without a wii-mote sucks because they decide every game should have motion sensitive controls or it sucks ( they're co op obsession in the article), i haven't played one good co-op game in my life, good in theory- not in practice, fear 2 was awesome and everyone dissed it even though the game was really solid cos there was no gimmick where you collec...
and a whole point at that from 8.8 to 7.8 etc, it make mp all the more valid....far cry 2 had a map editor that was useless because there were no bots and everyone wanted to play their own maps so why make them when you can play them ( and i didn't mean to post a similar thing to you i saw your comment only after i posted....it was just the first thing that came to mind)
why don't fps's have bots in multiplayer these days, kz2 does....why doesn't fear 2 , far cry 2, crysis warhead, or crysis, grrr, damn matchmaking bs and lag, it should be standard.....fu&* co-op, every game needs mp bots, cs- source was awesome with 32 bots
fear 2 for example 10 hours long, unoriginal, and i f-ing loved it, it's like how people complain when everygame doesn't have a custom game engine that surpases every other engine, if people just tweaked old engines or reused them ( i'd love to see another game with the far cry 2 engine) they could focus on content and gameplay, they need to learn from valve...
i've been waiting for this patch for a while...not to se if it actually makes a differance ( in the original the 64bit exe ddin't run as good as the 32bit....even on 64 bit windows with 64 bit processor...why?, no idea, the benchmarks prove it though)

don't you just love drm....i miss the good old days, when you install a game, enter the cd key...and that was that, what happens when you computer is formatted and you want to install it again you ask?, you enter the same cd key...and the game installs...., i was thinking about buying gears on pc the other day, if it had stopped working after like 2 days i think i would have gone skitz at eb games...

i don't find it mysterious i f-ing loath it, i just bought 1000 ms points on games for windows live to get the fallout 3 anchorage expansion, and guess what for some f-ed up reason australia, new zealand, uk, portugal, canada , holland, and many other countries....cannot download it through gfwl, because the system sucks, so now i essentially have a gift voucher for a store that doesn't exist, what a terrific experience it has been....not purchasing dlc with my points that i cannot get a refu...
your wrong it's probably cheaper to buy one from the us and get it shipped than it is to get one in aus

Games here are really expensive, $99 aus for pc games, that's double the cost of games in the us, and although the aussie dollar sucks right now last year it was like 96us cents for the aussie dollar....there's no excuse for that sort of bs, ps3 and 360 games are like $110

I'm tired of getting games before they're ready and then having companies take they're sweet ass time making a patch because they already have your money and don't care. This game is going to be better than starcraft 2 in my mind, just an opinion, more innovative 4 factions vs 3, just as good graphics as sc2 if not better, and it's out first....whats not to like, and just when i thought rts was getting boring... The patch on day one and the fact that it's out a week earlier than planned can ...

i truly loved this game, i've bought many games recently and many new fps's but this one was special, all the little touches that a valve game would have that you cannot describe...like the opening train scene in hl2, this game is full of awesome scenery and battles, loved it,great combat, very solid gameplay all round, and mechs are SIIICCCKK
