It's because people like I grew up on these and now I have a 6 month old who, in a year, will be playing Crash and Spyro just like I did, except they will be spoiled with 1080p!

Political correctness spilling into the industry. BFV is a perfect example. I want to play a game to have fun at the end of the day. Censoring the swastika and over-representing women in WW2 are just 2 examples.
I'd say a full game without some form of monetization. I think the industry has taken a step forward with tieing money to cosmetics, but Battlefield V is a worrying start of what could be shipping unfinished games. Or it could just be EA 😊
I'd say the merge of free to play with demos with AAA. No one would have thought about releasing their game for free 5 years ago and now look, complete proliferation!
