Oh man, you’re in for a wild ride lmao dark urge actually feels like it was the intended storyline the developers wanted. It ties into the main story far more than any of the other backstories. And the differences between being good or bad have some pretty significant differences.
Have fun!

It’s actually done pretty well, but you have to pick The Dark Urge backstory for it to feel right. That’s kind of the mode you can play as a good guy or bad guy and both are rewarding and feel like that’s how they were intending it to be played.
I picked the dark urge play through for both my games and did good and evil because it was so interesting see how different things turn out, and they turn out VERY differently if you go out of your way to be as evil as possible lol

I disagree. We’ve had several teasers and a trailer. We got a full gameplay trailer. What more do you need? Either you wanna play it already or you don’t. You shouldn’t be unsure about that at this point.

Yeah seeing anymore is going into spoiler territory for me. I’m not watching anything else till launch.

Why? It’s Spider-Man but bigger and with more mechanics. We know it’ll be good.
I’ve seen enough. Anymore is dipping into spoiler territory. I’m not watching anything else till release. I’ve got my Spidey controller and PS5 (covers). I’m good till launch.

Well I mean, I was expecting it to be good. And it exceeded my expectations.

I’m like 75hrs in and I am not even technically IN Balders Gate yet. This games so good. I haven’t been this absorbed into a game in years.
My game of the year. I’m sure I’ll love Spider-Man 2 and starfield when I get to it. But I can already tell nothings else will do it for me like this game.

I’m playing it on PS5. Can’t compare it but it plays great. No complaints.

I’d buy one but they’re $279.99 ($313.59 after tax) where I am, regular controllers are $89.99, often on sale for $69.99. I just can’t justify spending that much on a controller for the 2 games I’d like to put the jump button on the back paddle.
But my new Spider-Man 2 controller just shipped today!

I’ve been playing it. They mapped it pretty well. After the tutorial and an hour of play on my own I’ve got it down pretty quick.

Yyyeeeeaaahh because people HAVEN’T been saying how well it actually plays with controller already on PC…..

They make pure profit on used consoles. They don’t share any of it. And they’re generally only like $50-$100 cheaper than new.
So they “sell”a PS5, make their small cut from that. Then sell the refurbished Xbox and get to keep all of it. It’s win win. They get a small cut on PS5, and a large cut from the Xbox.

There’s plenty of real time action games out there. Turn based is about strategy. It’s like a complicated game of chess. You have to plan ahead and use what you have in the best way possible.
It’s not for everyone. But if you really give it a shot, you might enjoy the tactical gameplay.

Before you buy, by gameranx and ACG’s video are both pretty solid. Def showed me and told me enough to really want to get into it myself.

Haven’t really played these before. Only ever heard the name. But after seeing a bunch of reviewers gameplay and breakdowns, I REALLY want to play this game. It looks really interesting. I love a solid turn based RPG. The D&D play style really pushes it home. Game kinda came out of nowhere for me but I’m def picking this up next month.

They actually sold out before they were even supposed to go live on a bunch of sites.
And I can still find consoles and controllers for sale on a few sites. So they def underproduced the covers and messed up the release schedule. They went live 3 hours early I am, but I expected them to because it happens all the time. Was on 10 min early. Watched them go from unavailable to sold out before they even went live. Got a controller no problem. But those covers got stolen in transport or ...

Yeah I can’t justify paying Nintendo for any service besides basic online play. They just nickle and dime their customers and do the bare minimum expecting people to just be happy with what they get.

I agree for the most part. Nintendo themselves have said this is the model for future Zelda titles. And considering it’s the best selling entry in the series I don’t see them changing much.
I hope we get some offshoots still though. Like we used to with spirit tracks or oracle of ages/seasons. Or remakes. I’ve still never played twilight princess so a switch port or remake would be more than welcome. I’d love to replay wind waker. A remake of Majoras Mask would be very welcome. Or a ...

I kind of agree but not to that extent. They’re messy, but honestly with THIS many items you can pick up, how to you make it better? Every massive RPG with a ton of items you can carry has messy menus and it’s common complaint. Genuine question, does anyone know of any games that are similar that has a better menu style? Be interested to see them.
