now seriusly speaking. it's incredible how games get blamed. but having 30 years of life i remember that comics were responsible... then it was tv.... then it was music... and now it's videogames. it's an old story.

i'm not gonna discuss if PC is the biggest format. but i think that some games work best on a pc (dragon age, rts's) and some others work best on a console (mass effect, splinter cell, gta etc etc)
when i read FREE i was second guessing this one. but this looked amazing in the video. gonna check it out tomorrow. maybe it keeps me busy until the 27th of this month ;)
i'm a big fan of the metal gear franchise. i haven't played the ACID and portable ops iterations even tough i own a psp. but peace walker is a must have for mgs fans in my opinion. i believe it's gonna be ported to ps2 like silent hill and motorstorm arctic edge. but i don't believe it's gonna be ported to new gen consoles in retail version. maybe in xbla or psn.
i never liked jrpg's. always prefered western rpg's but yeah... persona 3 and 4 were perfect games. even a non-jrpg fan like myself could enjoy those magnificent titles. i haven't refered valkyria chronicles because i think it's a different kind of rpg with all the military tactical component
i'll agree with you in most parts. but there are some good adventure games made in the last years with very good writing and puzzles. the bad part ? they are mixed in the middle of hundreds of half-assed adventure games
what ? he is talking about point n click games or adventure gaming like it was called. they aren't casual games.
it's not consoles fault. times change and like adventure gaming was dope, now fps's and other genres are the dope. i still play adventure games but the genre turned into a niche genre. like nowadays genres could become niche's in the future.
