If people continue to buy pointless (looking at you horse armor) DLC they will keep making it
Companies are only after one thing and thats your money and if people keep giving it to them they will keep doing the same thing over and over
WAR is eh to alright right now, but it still has such a long way to go to become great. There are really several things wrong with the game as of now.
1. Mythic themselves
They really just don't listen to their player base, if you go read the forums there are people bringing attention to several issues but mainly destruction parity it just doesn't exist.

I'm a RTS gamer through and through and I'll prob try the demo out for this game. But with games like DoW2 and SC coming out how can you convince RTS people to use a gamepad to play. It should be an interesting expirement

I feel for them
I am really surprised at EA. They have done a lot with their new CEO and I am really impressed. BUT, they have done somethings that I feel are unforgivable such as closing Westwood studios (go petroglyph) and Bullfrog. Any who they are a hell of a lot better then they use to be

Ill stop gaming I go to flash based games on my cpu. I won't pay xxx of (dollars, euros, pounds, rubles, yuan, yen) to get the freaking ending or the last boss. Like Penny said earlier make games worth owning instead of wow yeah lets see how much blood, gore, and testosterone we can pump into a game to make it seem cool but be worth crap.
They need to get off their high horse and start doing something than trying to squeeze blood from a stone.

I think they did a terrific job on War. the PVP is amazing and they guild stuff is so much better than nething i've seen.
Wow does the same thing as other. Go kill xx amount of bats and come back etc etc. I feel the only reason people come back to WoW is that they invested so much time and effort into the game.
Would you give up on something that you invested 100+ hours on one character and the countless amount of dollars you used to finance the game. That in my opinion is what keeps people bringing back.

I agree you do bring up valid points. When I play early on, since they are my nights, I have a had time finding PvP on the flipside though the game is only two months old I don't expect it to go from nothing to something in that short of time.

I know a lot of people on WAR servers who played WoW and say that War is much better in terms on PvP. This they say will keep them playing War over WoW.
The one thing I think that keeps Wow so strong is people invested way too much time and money into it. So obviously they are gonna go back to a game that they spent countless of hours and money on to make sure they didn't waste their resources.
