and I agree, it was a fine game with a really enjoyable story. I will say though, I found the end boss fight a bit of a bore. Overall though its deffo worth playing!
I can totally appreciate people not liking COD, but I cannot understand why people are moaning that this looks like more of the same.
Its COD, what were you expecting? Personally, I really enjoyed COD with a few mates but we eventually stopped playing because of a few issues, namely the sniping and the constant spamming of killstreaks. Some of the favella gangs had more harriers than the royal navy for Pete's sake!

If a game achieves 8.5 or more and its your kind of game then surely its worth buying. Why is your opinion of what is a worthy score any more valid than the reviewers - at least they have played and completed the full game.

I have both consoles and bought it on PS3 because it is my preferred system and all my mates and workmates have PS3. I suggest you do the same, play the game on your preferred system and enjoy it - stop worrying about Joe Bloggs and how it runs on his system!
I used to trade in the odd game that I thought I wouldn't play again, but so many times I regret it as after 6 months or so I fancy another go on it and end up buying the game again.
Never traded MW2 though, that game was great, god knows how much I played online until it got frustrating - but it was a lot!!!!
I love all kinds of games and listen to podcasts regularly who discuss the lack of creativity in the games industry. I agree with them for the most part and try to pick up anything thats original or story driven.
Having said all that, I just cannot resist a good military shooter!!!! I have this pre ordered and cannot wait!
I think it might be, its certainly up there. As for the discussions about graphics - that is plain crazy, the game is gob smacking.
The only thing I personally would like to see addressed in this game is the A.I. In the later stages of Pacific Rift I found it to be way too agressive and almost impossible to beat.
I also didn't care for levels where you had to hit gates in a set time limit, but this is just personal preference I guess.

This one looks really good compared to what has come before, if they can knock out some good gun games I would bick this up for sure.

I have played about 5 hours of DR2 on my PS3 now and have to say it runs fine for me, I haven't noticed any screen tearing but I cannot say that I am looking for it.
Surely though if it had problems as bad as some claim I would have noticed them, as it stands, the game plays just fine - so far its quite good fun but I am already getting a little frustrated with the time limit mechanic.
It is impossible for games developers not to know how stong the anti-Activision sentiments in the gaming community are so why do they get into bed with them?

It is precisely the more 'hardcore' titles that I am waiting to see before picking up MOVE. I have no interest in party games but if LBP2 or one of the other releases lives up to expectations then I will deffo pick Move up.

I dont think I have seen a game receive as much publicity as LBP did here in the UK. Modnation Racers also got lots of air time on the TV.
I think all companies need to start addressing the problem of hacking and cheating much more aggressively.
When I think back over all the years I have games online I can think of several games that have been completely destroyed by cheats and hackers.
The first one I experienced personally was Worms: Armageddon on PC. I spend an age earning my Elite rank only for some scum bag to attack the server and edit their ranks. Team 17 took all competitive modes out...

I don't know how much longer I can wait, I am so excited for this release. When you look at the features packed into GT5, the dazzling graphics, the amazing racing physics and quality online racing I think it must be contender for game of the year.
