Some freaking out of this world lighting in R3, like WOW! The first pic blew me away with the lighting.
Can't really decide on this one tbh, Killzone 3 looks better on a more general level, R3 is a little more inconsistent to me...but then there is the lighting and some of the detail which is great.

I don't disagree with Rage's potential to be a great FPS, prehaps even one of the best this gen...However, you haven't played it so don't get ahead of yourself.
You forget that Doom 3, created by the almighty Id didn't get the anticipated critical appreciation and they spent near as makes no difference almost a decade on it...So I'd be a bit more reserved if I were you.
Their engine is no doubt top notch tho.
He's got a point actually, it went from impressive graphics to sort of a 'meh' impression.
Despite that I am still interested in what they bring to the table in terms of gameplay and story.

Misrepresentation of the collective of games on the PS3 and a confort zone isn't really the strongest basis of which to not buy a product over another.
In a sense you are saying a justified basis is a subjective one...I can agree insofar as its a reason, just not a very good one.
Now also you can't expect people not to be critical of you opinion, especially considering your reasons aren't that extensive.

I really love the Assasins Creed games, I do. I do feel however that they are going a bit to quick for my taste, it feels like I am being bombarded with Assasins Creed games. It may sound strange, I know. I honestly think they could spend a bit more time in development getting polished, I mean they're beginning to feel like more of the same, luckily what is there is brilliant...but still, more of the same.
I think that they may have found him already dead and came up with the brilliant plan to say that he was actually alive until America ended the life of 'the bad man' to have Americans cheer over the fact that 'they' saved the day.

They've basically said that they're working on a new IP, this ofc doesn't rule out Sly 4 but makes it less likely considering they'll have their hands full.

I think tbh it's a close call between Mass Effect and Uncharted, all that decides is preference (or bias, as it's known on N4G).
As a gamer I would be happy, and if the console turned out awesome I'd buy it. It would be retarded to be angry about evolving tech...because in the end its a means to an end, that end being gaming.

Looks very, very good...I am a sceptic of the MP still but the SP looks damn fine, here's to hoping its great.
Gameplay is gameplay and one can always disagree which was more fun in that respect...However, the story!? I thought that was pretty much a unanimous win by Infamous which actually had a coherent narrative instead of a jumbled mess of a simply 'par' cast of voice actors.
I mean everything from art design, score, cutscenes, city design in Infamous sought to create an awesomely realised world...while Prototype had one of the most bland worlds I have ever experienced wit...
I don't mean to sound like a jerky fanboy here but if I only had a 360 this year I would be a bit peeved...Maybe that's because I a such a huge fan of many of the releases this year, no doubt tho 360 owners will also have their bevvy of gaming goodness, but Uncharted 3, Infamous 2, Twisted Metal, Resistance 3, TLG and more...I mean one can't say that isn't the least bit mouth watering.
Deliver, yeah. However, surpass Among Theives? Tough feat and with the pressure it's not unlikely they'll make a slip but I doubt it will regress with the slew of new additions. In other words; I CAN'T WAIT!
