Well for one Borderlands came out before Dead Island so ya... Whats the problem of taking something fun and we all like and twisting it to fit another game? There is a limit but why not? ive said countless times of how i wished a certain game had a certain feature of another one and it would make it THAT much more epic/better.
I was aware of CoH for awhile but i never actually took a look or tried it till recently. Man i have to say i regret waiting this long, its awesome. I love WWII era and i love RTS and its a perfect combination (for me) of the two. I really wish i got into it sooner so i cannot wait for the 2nd because im going to jump into it as soon as possible.
I like how people praise Uncharted as the king but when someone takes inspiration from it at all they bash that game... Wouldn't you want them to take inspiration? If you loved that game wouldn't you want to play something that can be just as fun but with a new twist?

I wonder who they will choose who lives or dies and other things like the Krogan Genophase (i think thats what it was called)....

Im burned out of it. I loved D2 literally countless hours on that game, D3 though maybe have 30+ on it. IMO wasnt worth the money on Day one. I enjoyed it dont get me wrong, but its still a great disappointment in my book.

I borrowed it from a friend and just played through the campaign, which i really enjoyed. Looking forward to the new Medal of Honor but im afraid its looking more like BF3 instead of being MoH. I miss MoH:Frontline my favorite WWII game ever.
You obviously dont understand what he is saying. The guns that you can buy/unlock with the new DLC is not purposely better than the original guns. Just because someone has a certain gun doesnt give them anymore advantage over the people with the original guns. Its not pay2win, well kind of since you unlock everything but the DLC guns are well balanced with the original.
Id like to see this love go into every game though. But man its about time haha.
Now this should be freaking over the top guns and explosions of a one man army. Its RAMBO, but yet can be stealthy. I hope its fun.

How in the hell does Uwe Boll still get the money and green light to continue to make horrible adaptations hell horrible movies in general...
Personally i think the gameplay itself, the shooting mechanics and stuff is top notch, i love it. Just it feels like its missing something that its not finished. I enjoyed it but it wasn't worth the day 1 purchase at all.
I would still expect more coming from college graduates, especially if they are doing journalism.

Oh i hate the media, blow everything out of proportion and gives an unrealistic/over the edge view of how the world is. Most of the time that is.
Then make it right, make us feel like we are in DS1 again an unknown adventure to their homeworld. Make us feel helpless and alone but call upon a buddy IF we want to. Do it right the first time.
Gaming is not what it use to be, im sorry but all i see is a downhill trend to gaming. It won't be considered gaming anymore. I hate to sound like a hipster but its becoming too mainstream in a bad way...
