Microsoft Games(formerly Xbox) should just rip off the band aid and start porting all games to PlayStation and every other platform and just be the largest, richest multi-platform publisher cause the Xbox base is just not large enough alone, and they are not selling that many consoles anyways, so why delay the inevitable. I think I am going to switch buying multi-plats for the Series X to the PS5 anticipating the release of the PS5 Pro anyways.
So, let me see if I understand. Is this like me having to sign into my Amazon Prime account to watch the WNBA League Pass on Prime? If so, what is the problem with this?
I have more digital Switch games than physical so I am fine with either but the writing is on the wall, physical is going out whether that be music, movies, and yes, videogames also.
No surprise. MIcrosoft Games(previously called Xbox) need to put their games on as many platforms as possible starting with the PS5, and I mean all on them if they want to continue to be one of the richest companies, publishers, in the world. That would be best for all gamers, devs, and their investors, and maybe the industry.
Game costs seems to be through the roof this gen, so put the games on as many platforms as possible cause if they are not recouping their costs on the PlayStation to the point they are even suggesting going multi-plat that is really saying something. Getting your games in the most hands to me seems to be a win for gamers, a win for devs, and could solve many issues.
No surprise on the PlayStation front, and it makes sense to me for MS to put their games on as many platforms as they can. More options for gamers, i.e. getting your games in the most gamers hands is best for all gamers and to me would end the toxic fanboy mentality. Play everything.
I absolutely love the G-Cloud, and you can also connect it to your TV. There is a app called Video Game by ActDuck Games that has all the emulators already installed from the Super Nes, to N64, Dreamcast to Wii to arcade.
Fine with a dedicated Xbox handheld but to be honest, I love my Logitech G-Cloud since it allows not only remote play of Xbox, but Playstation, PC, and all my retro consoles and arcade games and I think a dedicated closed Xbox handheld would not allow so many options.
I am black so I knew exactly why some would have issue with this but it seems many had no idea of the meaning . I am not for what some are calling censorship but they removed it so I am ok with that. Looking forward to the game.
Everything I have seen on the game looks pretty good and after watching Digital Foundry's coverage, I am sold, and I need something new for the PS5. Bought the digital deluxe version, can't wait.

I was thinking about getting the Portal but my Logitech G-Cloud remote plays my PS5 games, Series X, retro games fine so will stick with that for now. Good to see the Portal doing well.
UE5 seems to be a CPU hog and given graphics fidelity, I expected 30 FPS. For those who want better there is the PC version.
For me, It should offer above what my base digital PS5 console can offer. That is all I am expecting.
I find myself playing more retro consoles these days over the newer ones, so not surprised.
