Wait.. wrong game.
I have no desire to play any FF game with Lightning as the main character.
They are trying so hard to make her THE character for all their FF games, and it just doesn't work for me.
I like my Final Fantasy games to start fresh every single time, and try and create a new universe with every iteration.
That's what the original Final Fantasies were, Giant risks, everything on the line, for a final game that might make your business shut ...
There is little doubt this game is good in my mind after playing it, but the hype train videos are not really helpful to what the game really is.
We will have to wait and see how this all plays out come release date.

It can. The game just wont fill the same void that skyrim left.
If you like Skyrim, most likely this will be painful to try and play for at least the first 10 levels.
After the first 10 levels, the game kind of opens up, but still, not worth playing in my opinion.

Looks like you didnt read that last little bit at the end of the PS4s speeds...
"*Connection speeds are estimates only."
In other words, it just tells you if you are within range or standard speeds, and wont show past those numbers.
Make no mistake, your connection is still 50+MB/s on PS4 (I have 50MB/s as well).
Tested with actually downloading games, it is using it all. PS3 is slower though.

Yup. Sales are atrocious right now in software.
But then again, there are a lot of factors to play here when you think about it.
First off, not a wide range of japanese centric games out currently.
Secondly, Knack is bundled with every PS4 sold.
Third, These stats do not reflect PSN digital sales.
Forth, its 2 days of sales...

The past infamous games have been very heavely story driven, with rather large open worlds to explore and destroy.
My self, and many others arnt totally convenced the delsum character is the right way to go, but we don't know enough about the story of this new character to make a good call.

Hopefully the goons at NeoGAF know more about this game than both of us, because an online only game with single player, and coach co-op would be utter stupidity.

Gametrailers confirms that there is a single player mode, and it's always online has been confirmed by popcap/EA.

Are you justifying a co-op mode as an online mode? Could the co-op mode have been played offline?
Could they have cut the co-op mode into an offline mode split screen or no split screen?
The biggest problem here is the troubling trend of EA forcing always online on games that don't need always online.
People are up in arms, with good reason after the crap EA pulled with Sim City and others.
The other troubling issue is the forced micro transactions...
Just got what this game reminds me of.
Star hawk, with smaller maps, and faster gameplay, as well as probably less air combat.
