@n0w0mann0cry
I think the guy above you meant a game with the same capabilities as Killzone 2. I don't think anyone would be stupid enough to actually think that he literally meant MS publishing a version of K2!!!
Tell me if I'm wrong!
What I think is really funny is that all of these people say that this game can be done on the 360 or that game can be done on the 360. Regardless of whether or not they could be done you don't hear the PS3 developers saying that a high end 360 game could be done on the PS3. This is because there are so many games that Sony puts on their system that question the ability of the 360 that MS PR people feel that they have to do damage control by saying that there system is on par with Sony's. ...
how about everyone just finds an old 60GB PS3 that is hardware emulated. I Still buy new PS2 games for my PS3.
FF13 to utilize 100% of Wii's power...There fight over this one now!!!!!!! lol
Seriously...Why is it that whenever somebody has an "announcement" it mysteriously turns into a "huge announcement". Face it...the truth isn't that Sony let people down by not giving a major PS3 announcement, but rather that everybody assumed that this would be of the "sky is falling" caliber. How about this idea...next time, don't get excited until you actually know what the "big" news will be about!!!
I hear everyone complaining about the CONTROLS in RE5, but how is the STORY...I've been thinking about getting it and oddly enough havent heard about what is probably the key point of Resident Evil!
I have an announcement...that tomorrow I'll be making an announcement!
"It should be remembered that Square Enix traditionally shifts and alters elements of Final Fantasy gameplay, with battle systems bearing the brunt of that. It's part of a philosophy which sees each new numbered instalment being a whole new game with new characters, plotlines and gameplay features, set in the same universe."
Correct me if I'm wrong, but what FF games have TRADITIONALLY taken place in the same universe (barring the horrible X-2)?
Do I have a PS3...Yes
Do I have a 360...No
Does it matter...No
Is this article restupid...TOTALLY!!!
There was a plot in Fallout 3? Oh yeah...press a damn button!!!
MGS4 all the way baby!!!
Policenauts remake?!!?!?!?!?
God that would be sweet!!!!!
In terms of pure processing power and floating point processes. The PS3's architecture with Cell is made for this kind of computation. It's not limited by any slower components like on the 360. With its three cores, if one core becomes bottlenecked, they all suffer. This is something known as Amdahl's law. The Cell doesn't need to worry about this because of it's independent micromanagement (pardon the pun) of the SPE's which are all "managed" by the PowerPC core.

Outside of G4, it seems to me that a lot of the people that are bashing FF7 now are people who were very young or possibly not even born when it originally came out. To these people, it is near impossible to draw the kind of excitement about this game as it did back in '97. I think we all remember those first visuals and TV ads that left us with our mouths gaping and then turning them to a sly smile while mouthing "What the F was that?!?
so...If you have a PS3 you can buy RE5 for that....and the same for a X360? Lol, stories like this are completely inept!!!
To me FF7 holds a special place in my heart. I'm not saying this because I blindly and irrationally call it the best game EVER without thinking about it, but because it was the first RPG that I ever played that I actually enjoyed. To this day, I still love JRPG's and sadly, there seems to be diminishing returns in favor of more profitable shovel ware or generic FPS games. FF7 still holds one of the greatest stories developed in a game by a company past its prime. So to some is this game o...
Has game informer ever done an april fools cover story before? I'm not being a douche, I just really don't know!
Oh man, I remember when the word fanboy wasn't met with the slight cringe crawling up your spine that it has become synonymous with, lol!!!
albeit not in large complex packets, but it has been done! There are so many resources and sites to show this that I didn't bother posting a link...as much as I hate the term...google it!!!!!
I mean...look at the population of Japan and the number of Wii's sold in Japan and I bet the numbers are really high.
This game, like the 4 previous installments, has a great story. I think that most people bought this game to continue the story of Umbrella and the original STARS members, not worry about verses and MP. To me this is like saying, "Hey, you want to pay around $6 for the ability to play FF7 multiplayer?" I think I'll pass!
