Always online/connected devices where an issue back, still are and should be complained about/fought against, only what MS wanted to do with used games made even more noise.
They were talking about the terms of how games were lent to friends, and expecting to be paid for that privilege.
As an accessory to Kinect and their always online plans which would have given them full control over how games were sold and/or traded?

It was also a budget title. The technical swan song of the studio given that everything else put out was also average. Potentially promising but ultimately average.
Which is why hype for the game shouldn't be so high. Not when much has really been shown.

How many times does it need to be said: MS doesn't have Sony's track record and reputation for making games. Bad enough there's argument that MS should be credited for games in mid production after buying that studio - which they shouldn't be - but then they aren't blamed when "new" games ...

The issue is MS trying to have its cake and eat it too.
For the longest they've tried making system power most important, never really utilized such when having that advantage, now they've cut a corner or parallel with the X and S, offering a cheaper console while still chasing after specs, which now leads to the weaker system being lauded over the X on any excuse.

You're talking about a studio, a head developer, who blamed high end rigs not being high enough for their/his own coding issues. Never mind Bethesda's been dependent on fans patching their bugs, making mods, to compensate for their shortcomings from the beginning.
