How can you compare DRM with Game Pass
“ Playstation was almost dead in the PS3 era”
Lolwut? PS3 sold at a faster rate than 360 launch aligned since day one
To think Microsoft actually tried to instate a DRM forced future because they felt they were on top, even though PS3 still outsold 360
“2023 year-to-date, the PlayStation 5 has sold an estimated 6.92 million units, the Nintendo Switch has sold 4.35 million units, and the Xbox Series X|S has sold 1.89 million units”
Jesus at this rate Xbox Series X|S will struggle to sell as much in a whole year than PS5 did in the first four months of 2023
Sony even expects to sell more in the next fiscal year than Xbox Series X|S has in its first 2.5 years
Bite your tongue. Soul Calibur VI was awesome
Nobody said it was a traditional fighter. Everyone acknowledges it as a platform fighter
PSASBR & Power Stone are fighting games, the former being a platform fighter and the latter an arena fighter
So y’all gonna include Marvel vs Capcom but neglect the other licensed fighting game franchises from Dragon Ball and Naruto?
Still waiting on Konami to put the MGS Collection back on digital stores
What’s it been? Like 12 years since Rockstar released a new IP?
You’d never see that with any other major publisher
How many games is Rockstar working on?
It’s sad to think a major publisher like that probably doesn’t even have 3 games in development, let alone being released every year like every major publisher
He wil be missed
Or you could just wait a couple of months and get multiple games for under $100
Good luck trying to get 3 or more first party Nintendo games for under $100 at any point
What reason does Sony have to buy them when they already partner on various projects

You must not know Japanese business or culture then if you really think this can ever happen. Corporate takeovers rarely if ever happen over there. The first ever one was in 2021, and that was a domestic affair. A foreigner doing that is not happening.
Japan has long resisted unsolicited takeovers. Despite the prevalence of such transactions in other large M&A markets such as the US and in Europe, never has there been a successful foreign host...
“By the time Rise if the Tomb Raider came to PS4,”
Dafuq? Hype died my ass. Rise of the Tomb Raider had sold 11.8 million by November 2021. Most of these sales obviously came from the PS4 version.
“When Titanfall 2 came to PS4, players treated it like a new franchise and it failed hard.”
Titanfall 2 flopped because it had a poor release schedule, coming out between CoD and Battlefield titles
This is all happening BECAUSE Microsoft would rather make this big acquisition rather than just making their own games
Hold up
Horizon: Zero Dawn sold 24.3 million
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sold 29.81 million
With the way journalists have been consistently saying BotW overshadowed Horizon you’d think the gap between an entry in a new IP and a longrunning one would be bigger Even if you want to include however much the Wii U version of BotW did, both series still did impressive numbers
I never want to hear that Horizon is an ove...
I’m so sick of people saying Horizon has poorly thought out release schedules
Horizon: Zero Dawn sold 24.3 million
Horizon: Forbidden West sold 8.4 million
Let all them naysayers finally be silenced
That sounds indecent
And yet Xbox 360 still ended up in last place
