Agreed. At the end of the day, it's still a broken game. That may change in the future, but for now that is the sad truth. They need to fix the game first, then worry about more players. Free or not, most people will not waste time on a game that is in it's death throws.

Why wouldn't I live at home? I've owned it for 19 years.

Is that you Sweeney? Can you get a good wifi connection with your head that far up your ass?
I considered it, then they made the deal with Epic, so boycott.
There sure are a lot of new accounts posting in all these Pitchford and Epic articles...
@Felix_Argyle_Catbro,
Thank you for the list, I will check them out. Not sure why you blocked me though, but ok.
People screwing off on their phone while taking a shit or waiting on something is huge, but not gaming. There is a difference between gaming and killing time just as carving a masterpiece from a block of wood is not whittling.
Please enlighten me to a "good" game on mobile. And by "good", I mean something that doesn't drown me in ads, constantly flash little exclamation points on icons to try and get me to buy something, pause the gameplay in order to watch an ad or video or hold the game hostage by trickling out "lives", plays or otherwise obstructing gameplay with some monetization in mind. About the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is Minecraft and it's so ...

@harmny,
I don't deny that Epic is a business, but buyers and sellers must agree for their to be an exchange and Epic has crossed the line. The Epic Store will fail and it will be because of their heavy-handed tactics ruining their reputation and causing mass distrust among the audience they need to survive. Unfortunately, many developers and publishers will also suffer, but it was their choice as well.
@harmny,
You make it sound like Epic made the Unreal engines out of the goodness of their hearts and gave it freely for all gamers to benefit from instead of a profit based company that once had a good reputation and has now thrown it completely away in favor of a fledgling commercial dictatorship. I can also talk history and facts, and the facts are that Epic is making an ass of themselves in the market and are doing exactly the opposite of what a company trying to break ...
This may as well be a paid advertisement. More shills selling their souls. Epic doesn't give two shits about the consumer, they are pro publisher and developer and are only interested in milking out more money for them.
I am definitely interested. I really loved Wildlands, mainly for the realistic setting and the map, but I am disappointed with the fictional setting and the over the top looking enemies. Wildlands had just enough fiction and just enough reality to make a great game. This, I will have to wait and see if it turns out more like Wildlands, or more like a bad Michael Bay movie. Still, I like what I have seen as far as the gameplay and added features. Looks like fun, which is the whole point. ...
Depends on your point of view, from a Tolkien fan's point of view, all of the video games based on that world are an absolute bastardization and a travesty. Shadow of Mordor might be a good game, but it and it's successor trample the lore and makes the vast majority of true Tolkien fans cringe. I think any sort of GoT game would do the same for the fans of the series and the books.
Agreed, that is always a problem with this type of escalation. We get better hardware, but we always want them to push that better hardware with more graphics, effects, animations, bigger games, etc. It's a constant tug of war between what the hardware can do and how much the software pushes it. Developers are going to want to use that extra power and gamers are going to want the better graphics and FPS performance. A balance could be achieved, but the vast majority of the time graphi...
