It is being made by ubisoft montplier(i don't know if I spelled that right). Its being made by the BG&E team.
Other info floating around is that it is running on the BG&E2 engine and being headed by Micheal ancel and had been in development for 3 years. BG&E2 has been put on hold until this game is finished apparently.

tHE XBOX LIVE idea is all good but not too close i'd like nintendo's own take on it without complicaitng things. live is not my personal prefernce. Nintendo's needs to have an online that is more personal. Also more wiiware games support online multiplayer than retail games so that might be one to deal with too.

Personally, their report can't mean sh!t. They are gauging the relative use of the wii from 17,000 households. Not just the wii but all consoles are sold across 5-6 continents. SO it does not give an idea of how its used around the world. Any console for that matter.

My comments should not be taken as some sort of bias but the ps3 survived the last few weeks selling more than the wii beacuse of hugely anticipated back to back releases.
It doesn't do much when taken worldwide cos for every 100,000 the ps3 gained the wii gained 500,000 in NA.

Its jointly developed by tecmo, grasshopper and nintendo. Nintendo published it in japan and i believe they are also the ones who are publishing it in europe. So just like sony published titles will never come to other systems this won't either. not to the ps2 not the psp or any xbox system.

This studios is very small I believe they ran into financial problems making this game alone. They cannot afford to do this game in hd in any way. Their games also have a very niche audience and don't sell all that much as proven by the games they released on the ps2.
Also of the 3 games they released before this. Muramasa has already outsold 2 of them in ts first week. That gives you an idea of how much their games sell.
