Western devs would be proud.
I'd love to see them do a Predator game. Based on the first film, not the sequel and certainly not any of the reboots.
I'm surprised Overlord wasn't given a mention in that article. Yes I know it's about rpgs, but they did mention other games where you play as a villain.
It will be woke as shit.
6. Forced Online-Only for Single-Player Games
5. Teasers for Games That Are Still Years Away
These are the ones that piss me off the most. Also having "download required" on a retail physical game. I'm a collector/preservationist and any single-player disc based game that requires a mandatory download can "Get F*cked" as well. It's the reason I never bought Avatar.
"Confirmed Release Date" doesn't mean much. Everything has the potential to be pushed back, way back. Look at Starfield, got pushed back by almost a year. I can't get hyped for a game unless it's within around 2 months of release, pretty unlikely they're going to announce a delay at the last second.
Didn't they try and do one of these years and years ago? I think it just sort of died off. Really hope this ends up being released with full mission support and not just some type of tech demo. I wonder if RS would try and put a stop to it though. I wish modders would do projects like these real hush hush and then just release it when it's done. The more I think about it, there's not a chance in hell we'll ever get to play this.
I felt this way with KH3 as well, ended up dropping it around half way through. I won't even bother with KH4.
Maybe a FFXIII Trilogy remaster for it's 15th anniversary?
Yes they can. My Series X thinks it's a PlayStation 2.
I imagine that in the near future, AI will be able to streamline game development and that should (hopefully) bring down costs. This doesn't mean fewer jobs for game devs, it means they can pump out more titles. Hopefully the game quality won't suffer as a result, I suppose that remains to be seen.
What a bullshit list, not even a single mention of Dead Island 2, a game in development hell for so long that everyone was sure it was going to release as a shitty, broken mess of a game. Turned out really good and had minimal bugs/glitches at launch.
F*** cloud gaming and f*** streaming! If that's the future of gaming, I'll play nothing but retro games in the future.
There are some questionable choices on that list. Starfield over Fallout 3/New Vegas? Spider-Woke 2, sorry Spider-Man 2 over Ghost Of Tsushima? I'd also choose Vice City over GTA IV any day of the week.
That's interesting, I always figured it was because Sony was going out of their way to keep certain games specifically off Xbox. But maybe there's a bunch of stuff going on behind the scenes we don't really know about.
That's just a f****** insult. They need to release that patch for console/PC asap.
Releasing on every single platform ever....except Xbox. They've gotta be taking the piss. If I was an Xbox/PC-only gamer, I'd pirate it out of pure spite.
"Kill the Justice League" such a fitting name for an always-online, live service pos game. And the fact they've announced an "offline" mode coming later doesn't mean shit. The game is still built and structured to be an online-only, live service pos.
"Sorry, this page doesn't exist"
But it's on their usage terms: https://www.playstation.com...

F*** you I'll sell them anyway. I bought ...
Nice. Bit jarring how those npcs materialized out of thin air though. Hopefully that will get sorted in time for launch.
