Tifa looks really fun to play, as does Vaan, much as I dislike his design. Still hoping for Vivi!

They should've just called this Contra. The trend of games getting easier continues, but this still looks bad ass.
It's almost all Square Enix, too, with a few exceptions. Hopefully this momentum carries on to the NGP.

Short of recent efforts from Mass Effect, Oblivion etc music wasn't the WRPG's strong point and never has been. Gameplay, though... depth... that's more of a fight.
Update: Square Enix have confirmed that they'll be making an announcement on this "soon".
With the online features of the NGP 'real' online play could be possible, too. At least this'll be back compatible also.
Why is everything we've seen of this game running on 360? E3 demos, gamescom demos, released footage etc... I want to see it run on the PC - not to mention the PS3 version..
Personally I would rather not see an FF13-2, but you need to consider this: It's cheaper and faster to make as they can reuse an existing engine and existing assets, and right now Square Enix really needs to have some cheap, high-profit projects to offset the disastrous launch of Final Fantasy XIV.
If you have that option, yes. However the difference from console to PC is way less than it was with DA1.
