COD games have been hacked to shreds way before the PS3 got hacked. Nothing new here, except Activision not know how to fix it.
*Turns on PS3 and plays Battlefield Bad Company 2...without incident*
One of the thing announced will be Netflix no longer needing the disk to run.
Edit: There will be a new sku with Netflix installed.
So I was curious of the percentage/attach rate of the FFXIII in the US, so I did some math. Presuming the total Hardware in the US breaks down as (PS3: 13.66 million) and (360: 22.84 million). Then using the numbers NPD gave for each console means:
6.06% of PS3 owners bought FFXIII
2.16% of 360 owners bought FFXIII
That's pretty piss poor considering most of the advertising was on the 360 side.
I'm hooked too. Rush mode is addicting as hell. Love the feel of their version of the AK as well. With a few more tweeks this thing could be awesome. I just wish they do something about the spawn killing that goes on.
Maybe I'm missing something but since when do companies have to to "work" with metacritic? All they do is compile scores from different sites into an average. No need for the company who's review is being averaged to be involved.
I'm not totally sure if something stated in the review is a spoiler, but it sure strikes me as being one. If you don't want to know what seems to be a big part of the plot don't read the 3rd paragraph.
I have a bad feeling. Can we list our PS3 models if we are having trouble logging in.
Mine is the 60GB
"I'm happy with what they've done this generation."
Then you obviously never played anything Rare put out before this generation.
I agree with both of you. I love the first game but I'm having trouble seeing what exactly it is that has everyone panties in a bunch. Looks like more of the same in a nice new package to me.
As a matter of fact it's sales seem to be increasing as time goes on. It's a great game.
Although having choices is a plus, I don't know why anyone would get this bundle over the Best Buy bundle that comes with Killzone 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4.
That "ding" has become my crystal meth
I don't want to ruin it for anyone but it has to do with Xi.
It's the only Suikoden game I played, but it's definitely one of my favorite RPG's. Were 4 and 5 as good as 3?
I wish the people that continually refer to just the graphics of the game, picked it up and played it. There is such a controlled chaos to the game (Multiplayer) that its very hard to understand unless you actually play it.
I love Rock Band, I love The Beatles, so this is a no brainer for me.
Yeah except most "average" consumers don't know the answers and won't try to find them either. Not to mention most will just think this is bad pre-rendered cgi and not pay the ad the attention it deserves.
As a K2 fan I love the ad. As a consumer I didn't get any information that would make this game stand out. Are those the game graphics? As a consumer I was not told. Is it a FPS? Not told that either. There just isn't enough information shown or given. I realize that game play from Killzone is very violent and not acceptable for TV ads, but at least show the characters running around without the shooting. I know that Gears and Halo both had ads without game play, but that only worked because ...
To be honest I would have been more surprised if the online DIDN'T have any problems the first few days. Think of servers as a pond each user as a rock, if you throw a bunch of rocks into a pond it creates ripples, those ripples eventually settle down but it takes time, especially if new users keep trying over and over to do something.
It's live now. I Just updated.
