Gameplay. Period. Neither graphics nor story or any other gimmick make a game; that could be a movie or graphic novel for all i care. I dont want to play friggin scenarios i want to play games.
Even if pc games are about to vanish, which they will NOT of course any time soon; saying that windows will vanish without gaming is sheer nonsense. Take a look at the business world and then tell me again how microsoft needs games to survive.

Lack of innovation slowly ruins gaming. Its all about the big bucks and companies are too pus$y to stray from the beaten path. What we soon have is a second hollywood, and the sad thing is, we did allow them that. I stopped playing fps years ago for all the reasons you guys up there already mentioned.
How about somebody invents a little nifty thing called gameplay? You know there are already great books and movies and such. And for people who like a taste of reality; get out your damn front door already!
Super SF4 is a full stand alone game that deserves a proper home release and a taito type x2 arcade game release. People want this. Now shush you hideous being. No one forces you to buy this.
I really really love resident evil, the real resident evil. I was one of the few that couldnt get enough of the original games. But since capcom found out that mindless action sandbox games generate more money, i fear the series is as dead as the zombies hungering for your money....errr brains, sorry - lol.
Virtua racing is pretty good at the arcades. Its amazing how well this game feels. I say the controls on this game are better than in most contempoary driving games. Its just the home versions that suck due to the hardware limitations.
To the guy who said they release another "turbo" version after this; HOPEFULLY they do! This is street fighter refined revisions are expected. DLC sucks. I want a damn storage medium, a cover and manual and not just a couple of zeroes and ones for my money!
Yeah i can remember what that was like. The ps2 was cr@p and sony dominated the competition with its overwhelming marketing power. Now consumers are sheep and they easily follow the forced trends. Today its different. Today we have another big @ss marketing company competing with sony. And they are all after your hard earned money, lol. So this is NOT the same as was back then.
The current gen is the most saddening ever. I already fled onto handhelds and pc and quite frankly i am glad when its over. New console hardware? Yes please.
i agree on this interactive movie thing. Not exactly new, and not really exciting just because they have relatively low end render graphics now.
