Sony Interactive Entertainment and Shift Up's Stellar Blade has received two brand new surprise outfits. Here's how you can unlock them.
Brand new outfits? Aren't they the ones that were censored? Fans got up in arms about when the devs changed them a little bit? Well whatever the case, they should never have been censored in the first place. Glad the "original outfits" are back, so it seems. I personally don't care about the outfits per se, but I do care about censorship in the games industry and I hate it when it happens.
The outfits were Def changed that's one thing for sure. And and in a lazy way.
Aside from that, yes there are new outfits including two new ninja ones that weren't in game at all
It’s so weird right? Like their “intended designs,” but then give the uncensored variations? Whatever it is everyone can now have their cake and eat it, too now.
But yea, straight up censorship and a lazy “reasoning” behind it. This all could’ve been avoided had they just done this in the first place… but all’s well that ends well.
This couldve been avoided if they made the changes before the game went gold. Next time Stella blade 2 make sure the game is the way they want it before it goes gold. Also the multiplatform game gatcha I guess I'm curious how that is going to go. Considering how nikke is on mobile how stella is on console
The OG ones arent back these new ones are recolored versions of the OG ones. Meaning they didnt change them back. They were probably intended to be that way like the creator said.
That really makes no sense considering they made variations of suits. These suits are literally variations of the pre-patch original designs and again think of it this way, if those previous suits were always the “intended design” why the huge push back or need for “internal discussions” when they could’ve easily reversed the changes with a patch if they always intended to release the original “unintended design” versions later? It makes absolutely no sense, so what, these are the “unintended versions?”
I mean the guy even said in an interview the changes in the patch were going to upset people, so…. Why would you do that when you released the game knowing not everyone would be able to do the update patch? All these people without internet are getting the unintended designs?
It’s all super weird. What I think happened is the “internal discussions” was with Sony and they got Sony just to ease up. One thing’s for sure they can’t patch these up and say the changes were always the intended final design…

And I’ll let you dwell on this thought, if the outfits were never intended to be a design… why are they now? Also, why are they the variants of the censored outfits, uncensored? Keep in mind these were the outfits released on the disc sent to retail where the developers knew not everyone can do the updates to patch them, sooo… Super weird, if you ask me.

By the looks of it, PlayStation 5 exclusivity does not hurt the sales of Stellar Blade in Japan as the game has passed 90,000 sold physical copies.
Stellar Blade really deserves way more praise than it got, devs have been adding more and more content, for free, since release and the game already was great to begin with!

I got it day one, i have some backlog due to RDR2 i just platinumed.. i will get to Stellar Blade in the near future
Capcom really dropped the ball with DG2. They had easy success on their hand but instead with their stupid decisions ruined the games success
Stellar blade is an amazing game and deserves all the success. For all the artificial hate it got from people who had no interest in the game to begin with this shows if you make a good game it will sell. The so called 1st party drought from PlayStation has meant 4 exclusives in 2024 so far. Other companies need to learn how to run a business and plan for the future
Stellar blade is performing very impressively there, DD2 didn't do well because word of mouth destroyed it's reputation and not about the Microtransactions or performance, bad word of mouth about how the game lacks so many things that were in the first one
Exclusives matter. No matter what bumbling phil and bond try to say, exclusives is why you buy a console.
They dropped the ball with dogma. SB is a solid game, it just had to weather the social storm.
Said that dd2 was missing things the first one did,like mass effect 2? I haven't played it so I'm really asking.
I've played both and I have no idea what people say when they claim it's "incomplete". I've only noticed new things in comparison to DD1 (I would give a list but spoilers). Sometimes I wonder if some people actually played DD1 or maybe they remember it differently. Anyways, if you liked the first one and want more of that, you'll probably like DD2.
Yeah, the content, combat movement is slower, less vocations, the armor system, it's more simplified, and dungeons are lacking. It's like they rushed it out or something, but didn't forget to add in youtuber pawns and micros. At least ME 2 upped the content.

Also, I’m not really a huge fan of boss rush modes, but glad there’s people excited for this.
If anything they should ignore those people. It is so laughable how people cry creative freedom for devs, yet the second a dev finish the design they wanted, some people crying censorship. It was their intended design and they should stand by it
It's hilarious seeing these losers still push the censorship narrative. Like good grief, they still kept the slim bikinis and the mid-cutscene crotch-shot, and the scenes of being up-close to uhh...Lily's face... in moments when she hugs Eve.
I think they changed the look of some outfits so all countries has the same game. Cause probably couldnt get pass certain countries system. At the end of the day the outfits looks nice. People should really get passed the so called censoring and move on.
Buying this game on pay day. Been looking forward to it ever since it was announced as Project Eve. The demo was fun - definitely supporting it.

I agree that some of the surface textures could use an upgrade in quality...
On consoles at least, can we just put Unreal Engine 5 on hold til next gen, and just get more polished UE4 games like this and Lies of P? Cuz the UE5 games on console so far run like drunken potatoes. I personally can do without Nanite and such for the time being if it’s at the cost of performance. And I doubt I’m alone in that sentiment. People have been asking for better performance for 10 years, and there’s always gunna be some new graphical tech that eats up processing power. Pump the brakes, get the performance standard to 60, or hell at least an evenly pace 40 for those who can use it. Then start adding graphical features to the extent they don’t tank performance.
Three times the graphics modes as Hellblade and three times a much gameplay too.
A little dissapointed by the demo. It seems goof, but was hoping for something more in the vein of DMC, but it's more of a souls like. Feels like a game where you should be able to use longer combos. Hope the skilltree fixes this in a satisfying way.
