I got both of the pockets. Pretty neat little handhelds. I much prefer the EXP, but given their size and the fact one of them has built in Taito games (the Capcom one has the same games as the EXP) I will say they are worth having. Relatively cheap and plays the majority of evercade carts... what's not to like?

Barlos185d ago

Have you also scored the new Duke carts? The I'm loving the remasters of Duke 1 and 2. Having never played them before I'm having a blast. Easily one of the best Evercade carts to date. Not a fan of the second Duke cart though. Those games have aged badly.

i did. Have not played them as i have been playing through full void. I should also be getting the atomic edition VS in the next day or two and it will come with its own Duke carts so i will have two sets. One of the sets im getting signed by the Duke voice actor, Jon St John in a couple of weeks at a game expo.

Full void is great! I got myself the special edition with the blue cart. I wish it was a bit longer though, but good that it even includes achievements!

I didn't get the atomic VS but having seen an unboxing on YouTube it wish I had, love the exclusive theme and menu music. I didn't feel I needed it since I have the founders edition VS. I was wrong 😂

That's cool getting a set signed by the voice actor though, that'll just make your copy that bit more rare and special 👍

One thing I'm surprised at though, is that Blaze didn't release a special edition of the Duke remasters, given the effort that went into creating them.

The Status of Every PlayStation Franchise

Sony owns a fair few iconic franchises - many dating right back to the original PlayStation. But while we’re pretty familiar with the likes of ongoing series such as God of War, Horizon, and Gran Turismo, there are plenty of PlayStation franchises that haven’t seen the light of day in a long time. So in this video, we’re going to be taking a look at the status of PlayStation’s many IPs, and checking in on when we last heard from them.

Status in one word:

Underutilized.

The end.

anast3h ago

Which ones should they utilize more?

BehindTheRows2h ago

Indeed. We hear this “underutilized” talk as if every old franchise should have a comeback or reboot.

When new IPs start looking like Concord, you can't blame people for wanting another Resistance or Killzone instead.

anast1h ago(Edited 1h ago)

J&D and Resistance are good ones. As much as I love these, though, I'm not sure they would payoff without an enormous marketing push. Younger gamers today do not have taste and the older gamers that would appreciate these might not be enough. But yeah, I would day 1 Resistance.

Here lies The Infamous Series; once a shining beacon of free flying, lighting bolt sniping, and wire riding amazing gameplay, it has been laid to rest and be forgotten for what seems like forever despite being loved by millions. Plot next to Wipeout across from NBA Jam.
