The TL;DR being that the author really is a bigot who ignorantly saw the video game industry as a failure. He was eager for a quick-buck for licensing and never foresaw how big his fantasy world could become as an RPG.

Star Wars Outlawa has some real potential. I loved the Fallen Order games but the abundant timed jumps at times took me out of the narrative as they could be come frustrating. The branching options and status with factions looks great.

Now we have (no hate on quality here) two PoP games no one asked for. We could have been anticipating a Warrior Within remake by now.

Outlaws looks a lot different than what we are used to from Ubisoft though. And in some way AC shadows also seems to do new stuff with the AC formal. I understand what you are saying but lets give Ubisoft a change to change.

I don’t think I’ll ever play an UbiSoft game again at least anytime in the foreseeable future. They have too many shitty practices that I would have to overlook for me to be interested in their games and I won’t do that.

I agree for the most part, but I did enjoy Valhalla. Yes, this makes me a part of the problem. I will also day 1 Hexe, if it comes out, probably, which makes it even worse.

I have better internet than most people however this is a single player game what's the justification to always be online.
Ubi want the ability to take it away from you when they see fit just like they did with the crew so I'd rather not pay them full RRP for a rental.

I had hoped the stop killing games movement would cause a shift in how ubi handles these things clearly not

The Sands of Time having already been announced back in 2020, and then getting like 10 seconds of nothing during this show to announce (supposed) 2026 as the year it will come out (not a season or a month, just "2026"), is wild. I thought these huge corporations were supposed to be good at the whole marketing thing.

The highlights, I'm guessing, were supposed to be the Star Wars game (as if Star Wars isn't utterly, utterly oversaturated at this point), and yet another Assassin's Creed game (which, let's be honest, looked way jankier than it has any right to be).

Oh yeah, and no Beyond Good & Evil 2. Again. Who could've predicted that?
