PlayStation Experience: Here are The Studios Most Likely to Announce Brand New PS4 Exclusives

Yesterday Sony Computer Entertainment announced the first batch of studios and games which will be showcased at PlayStation Experience between December 6th and 7th, but the list leaves with questions, as there are quite a few of those studios that don’t have a recent game to show, indicating that they might be present at the event to introduce a brand new game.

Then there is that third party exclusive which will probably be revealed! Would be nice to see a new IP or a revival of an old one!

I would definitely take a new Syphon Filter or Warhawk game for the PS4 and PSVita in a heart beat. I'm very curious as to what they will show for the PSVita as well. Enough with the Indie games. Give me some real new IP's and exclusive games for my handheld already. There are a couple games coming, so I'm not too mad. Tales of Heart and something else. Sony love to show off a lot of games, but can they deliver all this gaming goodness in 2015. I think 2014 was a subpar year for exclusives on the PS4. There were actually better Indie exclusives(timed) on the PS4 they full retail exclusives. Only Infamous ss and probably LBP will be the best 2014 exclusives for the PS4. Sony is up for the challenge of course, but let's hope they deliver this time. Microsoft will be showing off at least 28 new exclusives next year, so the competition isn't resting after a great 2014 year.

You can count those exclusives when Microsoft starts listing them at next years E3. They will probably start sooner then that knowing Microsoft. Remember, they showed off 16 exclusive this year. So 28 exclusives for 2015 isn't out of the question. We already know 5 of them already. Quantum Break, Tomb Raider, Fable Legends, Crackdown 3 & Halo 5. Stay in denial if you want. More exclusives and New IP's are coming for XB1 next year.

@MasterCornholio unveiling a game from a 1st party dev is much more likely than a big 3rd party exclusive deal . the most likely is revealing a 3rd party game that is going to be multiplatform . JMO

Wasn't it Scott Rhodes that said they're going to reveal stuff that they probably shouldn't? The list of announced games is enough to make it an event much bigger than Quicktime seems to think. Uncharted 4, The Order and No Man's Sky are confirmed already, along with many more.

One thing I hate about MS with Xbox is they do have quite a few really great IPs, but they hardly use them, instead they normally rely on their go-tos Halo, Gear, Froza (Which I'm personally not into). I'm really hoping we see more of Fable this generation along with those JRPG IPs they only used once.

I'm really excited about what could be shown here, but according to others, I shouldn't be. It's bad when gamers can't get excited for anything that may be coming up in the future anymore.

Anyway, All that bs aside, I really do hope they're working on a new God Of War. People may disagree, but I LOVE that franchise, and want to see where they can take it after GOW 3.

I won't be happy if a game like Red Dead Redemption 2 or Fallout 4 receives some kind of exclusivity, as it's not called for and Sony has enough resources to make new games for themselves of that scale.

But both of those would be bigger than the Tomb Raider timed-exclusivity from MS and would cause mass outrage. It was only such a bombshell because people actually thought it was truly exclusive and they lied on stage and continued to mislead people on Twitter that it was exclusive.

Take a game like Shenmue though. It may have been a niche game for the Dreamcast over 10 years ago, but I dare you to find a more requested sequel out there from the hardcore gamer base outside of Half-Life 3. I also dare you to find a more committed and passionate fanbase for a long dormant IP.

If it's something like Shenmue III, no amount of hypocrisy claims will be able to hide my excitement. The game is not going to be made without third party funding, and if Sony has to be the one to pick up the IP and make a deal with Suzuki and Sega then so be it. That will be a huge coup for them and gamers as a whole, and would really show a level of commitment only rivalled by Nintendo and their pickup of third party licenses for games that would not otherwise be made - like Bayonetta 2.

Tomb Raider is not now as big a franchise as many remember it being.

Sony doesn't have the money to make Batman Arkham Knight exclusive. Warner Bros Interactive wouldn't let that happen. Wishful thinking though. Most likely it would come from a Japanese studio like Capcom or Konami. Maybe it's MGS V. They can make that game exclusive, cause I don't think Xbots care for Kojima or Konami anymore anyways and visa-versa.

Hey guys and gals,

I am very excited for the PS Experience. I hope like many of you that something we have wanted will be revealed like SOCOM, Syphon Filter, God of War, Crash, Spyro, Shemmue, and or The Last Guardian.

I have a feeling there will be several surprises and news on some of the games above. I just hope we get more info on Deep Down, Planetside 2, Rachet and Clank, No Mans Sky, and Uncharted 4.

With xbox being third place this gen they are gonna be comming as hard as possible the next few years so really xbox fans will have a awesome gen cycle. And the next gen after this one they will come with the most powerful console they can possibly make while still retaining an affordable price now that they seen the tidal wave that is the ps4. This is just my opinion anyway but untill then ps4 is teh bestest

The only bummer is that none of these game developing studios are confirmed, so it's just running on hope and speculations.
But it's fun to dream :) especially when it comes to gravity rush 2, however, it takes them 2-3 years to make a game to completion.
