I didn't give af about The Order to have any thoughts on it. Nobody did. You're projecting my guy.
The discourse around this game is weird as hell. It's like they just can't accept that Xbox made a banger.
Yeah no it's nothing like Black Flag.
I couldn't find any redeeming qualities about the game. Except maybe the graphics look decent? Please enlighten me. It feels like this was a bad mobile gaming turned into a console game.
It's a new graphical benchmark
A lot of things in that document turned out to be cancelled plans though. We should have seen the digital series X by now and the new controller.
I think it will hurt physical sales a bit. But CoD makes the most money from microtransactions. I'm sure the amount of people that are gonna play it on gamepass will be offset by the amount of new people buying MTs
Edward Kenway was not Carribean
No answer? Interesting...
Are you gonna play the game?
There's nothing they could say that would justify it that wouldn't make the company look bad. It's pointless to speculate.
I could say that they closed it because they found child p*rn on their leaderships laptop and it would be as valid as anyone else's guess.
I like Jez Cordens thoughts on this. He said it could be because it's a Japanese studio and Xbox has been working on making their teams work together as much as possible. Them...
Slow news day? People were literally complaining about how much they showed of Hellblade 2 lol
Maybe these studios didn't close because of GamePass? Have you thought about that?
I hate how only now this game is getting the attention it deserved in the first place
There's a reason they sold in the first place. And Bethesda is not closing anytime soon lol. As much as I hate the studio closures. They were all small studios 2 of them were mobile studios.
I think these are growing pains and Xbox will get back on track. But they're not getting any more passes.
This doesn't mean there are problems with GamePass lol. You're acting like the developers don't have a salary. We know they get bonuses when they make successful games as well.
But these studios would have likely closed regardless of whether or not they were bought by Microsoft, idk if you've noticed but Microsoft isn't the only one doing layoffs and closing studios. My issue is that they didn't NEED to close. Microsoft makes enough money for these studios to ...
He gets no more passes from me. You don't get to take this long to get on track with Xbox exclusive games (buying ABK, Bethesda) and then immediately create confusion around exclusives and at the same time close down some great studios. I don't think anyone would bat an eye if it was Roundhouse and that other one. I think everyone understands those closing down.
But Arkane Austin AND Tango?? What are we doing here?
That doesn't make any sense lol. How would they make money from these IP'S with no developers?
I understand the other studios. Maybe Austin deserved another chance since they didn't want to make Redfall in the first place. But I guess after Redfall and their other games being underwhelming or underperforming. It is what it is.
Tango is a weird one though. They made nothing but good games. What happened to using GamePass to uplift smaller and unique games?
It's the huge win that I wanted it to be.
It seems like people were expecting it to be like God of War. Which was never the case.
It's just another case of people having the wrong expectations.
