I prefer 5 3rd party exclusives out this year on PS5 over only Hellblade 2 so far on Xbox.

Go into you account, chose subscriptions, chose cancel and then it gives you the option to refund rest of the month or let it run till the end of the month.
I usually pay 11.99 CAN for gamepass and get a 8 CAN refund. Depends on how long it takes to beat the game.
It will still be a rental service for me. Get a month, beat the game and get a refund for the remaining days of the month.
Did it for only Like a dragon gaiden and Persona 3 Reload in the last 12 months.

I get wanting updates on first party but most first party devs have had less than 3 years of dev time since their last game. Take into account their last games were cross gen games that took over 4 to 5 years to make. And there is the expectation that these new games will bring the "True" next gen so i don't know why it's expected to take less or the same time to make. When they are ready they will show the games and Sony will let them take whatev...
They released several exclusive games this year and that's all i really need from my PS5.
Sony has no big names this year? FF7 Rebirth and Helldivers 2. And a couple of other million+ seller exclusives.
But i guess it's not first party so it doesn't count as "big name"...
In actual reality PS has 5 exclusives already out this year that are not on switch or Xbox. 2 being GOTY contenders with FF7 Rebirth and Helldivers 2.
You can go on enjoying all the imaginary exclusives released on your system now.
They will maybe sell you costumes and DLC in the future like any other games. Ok.
What surprised me is the base game is 60 on PSN. Kinda inching towards a day 1 for me...
Hopefully the reason it doesn't have a release date...get that polish and 60fps to a "solid" state.

They are not Sony first party anymore. They currently have a publishing deal with EPIC.
Hoping for some cool announcements here. DMCV and DBZ fighterz got announced at Xbox conferences so it's happened before.
Kinda hoping for Team Ico (Gen Design now) to show their new Epic funded game there.

Platformers and side scrollers release at 60 on Switch all the time without question. Psychonauts 2 came out at 60.
But with Sony the 60 dollars for a platformer is a issue?
Why is it that when an article says Software people don't count the THIRD-PARTY exclusives?
The begining of the article mentions the trifecta of announcements of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Shenmue 3, and The Last Guardian. One third party exclusive , one multiplatform and one first party.
So if the article talks about third party games why are you only mentioning First party?
The developers got my support by a new game pass sign up, downloading the game and finishing it. That has to be the metric for how they get bonuses. And if that isn't enough then they shouldn't have put the game on gamepass.
Me keeping the sub active without any other games i want to play is just giving Microsoft money for nothing.
