That's fair. I just don't like how it's pretty much killed Xbox as a platform. Because of it and in my honest opinion Xbox is now a service rather than a platform. Say what you will about the Xbox one it didn't do as well as the PS4 but before gamepass at least people where paying for the games. Now it's ill just rent on gamepass and if it ain't on gamepass I'll wait untill it's on gamepass.
After being burnt with MW3 (really enjoyed mw2019 and MW2 (2022) as well as cold war). Guess I can give it ago on pc GP for a month. If I like it buy it on PS5 or PC or don't if I don't like it. I may dislike gamepass. But since it's Microsoft who potentially looses out on my money I don't mind.
Yup I'm enjoying the game. But it's funny but also frustrating at the same time. Putting a single bullet into someone half way across the map doing little to no damage and they frantically start jumping up and down frantically is the funny party. Then frustratingly they seem to 1 shot you during their frantic jumping.
Ahhh yes the typical but but but Sony in a Microsoft article.
When did Sony copy Microsoft? I havent seen Sony's big day one titles such as God of war Ragnarok or GT7? Do you want to know why they are not on the service? Because people are still willing to PAY for the games. Sony has already admitted they lost millions putting Horizon Forbidden West and Ratchet & Clank on PS+ Extra.

@AndrewM
I don't blame you for not trusting me I was looking at the Helldivers 2 numbers not Hellblade 2 lol my bad.
Odd? Their is currently 76,000 playing on steam alone right now. And in the last 24 hours 78,000.
So......a pc. Dell Alienware Xbox, HP Omen Xbox, Lenovo Xbox. Rumours I have been reading about it they want to have gamepass on everything possible and phase out the "Xbox" brand.
Their was a few ways. You had Xbox live to gamepass conversion. It was like 3 years of Xbox live gold for 2 years of gamepass ultimate. So people kept doing it on 3 year chunks. This actually only just recently got stopped by Microsoft I believe.
Then one I personally kept doing was. When I first subbed to gamepass it was a offer for like 3 months of pc gamepass got £1. Once this expired I then had another offer for like 1 month of intimate for £1. Once that was ...
Microsoft ever since GP released. Has made about £35 from me. I got 23 months of it for a £1 a month due to the offers every month. You then had the real winners off gamepass. Who did the Xbox live to gamepass conversion for years on end. Microsoft haven't made any money on them for years yet a lot are still getting the benefits of gamepass.
Since 2017 Microsoft have gotten £35 from me. In the same time frame Steam/Playstation/Nintendo have gotten thousan...
Oh no
Yer I was thinking that but that's way to much. Might as well just buy the game.
I think it's going to be more than COD. I think it's going to be any new AAA games from MS. Highest tier includes Doom, COD, Elder Scrolls (if GP is a thing by then).
If Ultimate is £12.99 now my guess is new tier will be £15.99.
Xbox branded PC's and handhelds I can see happening in the future. Both will obviously run windows so both will be classed as a pc rather than a console. However, I would love to see Microsoft attempt charging pc gamers for Xbox live again that was fun to watch back in 2007.
I'm hoping for age of empires
Good luck to both.
I like how a lot of people are blaming the Sony exclusive deals. Yet in the last 4 years they have released about 50 games. 70% of them being multiplatform, 20% being Nintendo Exclusives and about 10% PlayStation Exclusives yet lets all blame the Sony deals lol.
I thought the Helldivers 2 thing was sorted? They no longer forcing people to link a psn account. I'm talking about the yet to be released games like ghost of tsushima.
I agree with what you said. They should of done it with Helldivers from the start 100% agree. But now that issues has been resolved. They need to start realising pc players are a different breed and quick.
How is it? What I said is true. They did ok with the single player games God of war, Days Gone. Since there is no online components no need for PSN.
When it comes to online play. They obviously want people to link a psn profile. Why I don't know I don't understand. EA do it with their games, Ubisoft do it, Microsoft do it.
If Sony are not willing to scrap the PSN requirements then their is only a few options. Scrap crossplay (I'm in support o...
Sony needs to learn pc players are noting like console players. If they don't like something about the way you handle a game they will do everything to derail the game. Review bomb on steam, pirate the game what ever.
Sony should just stick to releasing single player pc games. Or don't allow crossplay so no need for PSN linking on pc. Or just stop releasing games on pc.
If the game is good then I have no issues paying for it on my preferred platform.
