This is the most incel fake outrage sad shit I've seen all morning.
Congrats to making yourself look like an absolute tool while inexcusably and unnecessarily attacking the LGBTQ community.
On topic, congrats to Insomniac. Amazing game, amazing experience, and makes me hopeful for the new Wolverine Game. Would love to also see a Storm or Captain Marvel game.
Agreed, but to your point, those dollars went a lot further back then than they do now. This should have been a consideration from the beginning.
Imagine buying a monitor or tv that could only work with one device. That's basically what this equates to, so they left a LOT of money on the table by not making it PC compatible from the getgo. But to Sony's credit, even they were unaware of how popular their games would be once released on PC.
@MIDGETonSTILTS17
There's ranked mode for those who want to be matched based on skill. A solution to that already exists. To your point of skill level mismatches, with SBMM removed it randomizes when and where that occurs. There are still many instances where one team absolutely crushes the other with SBMM turned on. That will happen regardless, it's just a matter of frequency.
The issue is that every game becomes a competitive mode match that can sometimes also sacrifice ping over ensuring even matches. When every game becomes a "Who has the meta build and who can exploit the lag and desnyc" the best, it ruins the fun for a lot of people. Don't get me wrong, streamers don't mind a challenge, same with proficient players, but when it's literally every match? That's more draining than anything.
W/ SBMM, if you ain't us...
I wouldn't be surprised if there were more people playing Avengers before they pulled the plug.
As far as trailers go... that was... A trailer. Yeah...
At this point, they might as well have just came out and SAID what they were doing rather than this. This was the least helpful teaser for a batman IP I think I've ever seen lmao. I'm definitely biased, in that teaser trailers never do anything for me, but this was especially so after the Suicide Squad disaster.
Funny that it's performing so well, and yet Square Enix constantly states that it didn't meet their goals and expectations. They've historically had a big problem with expecting astronomical sales on every one of their games, then expressing disdain when it doesn't meet those near impossible goals. How they get this wrong every time is beyond me...
But I'm glad that it's continuing to sell well in the grand scheme outside of their expectations. I'...

THAT part.
It's really not censorship. It's a change based on an unintended consequence. There's really no indication that it was something they even realized could be interpreted or construed as something else. Assets sometimes get placed in weird ways they don't realize until after. It's that simple.
Glad it got removed- Honestly it seems like an honest mistake by the sounds of how they reuse that asset throughout the game. Unfortunate placement more so than anything, even if it was unintentional, but their response and willingness to fix it is what matters more than the mistake.
Either way, I'm excited to play this today!
Oh hell yeah! I feel like this was one hell of an underrated game, and I'm glad to see that a part 2 is coming.
If I remember correctly, they stated their recent Blizzard acquisition as a way to stay competitive with Nintendo and Sony, not specifically to profit across platforms. Of course, the end goal is always profits, but they've also made a bunch of exclusives that haven't made their way to other platforms yet, with more on the way.
I imagine the other acquisitions were for the same reason, but I could be wrong. They recognize that most of their offerings aren't to ...
Pro: More people getting to experience a game they weren't able to before.
Con: Hearing either Lucas or Ness yell "PK fire" ever again.
This, and this again. I wish people were more willing to just look at the facts, instead of blaming what's happening in the entertainment industry as "woke propaganda." Well said, and backed by real applicable points given the circumstances.
I'd add, that there's been an ever increasing pressure on publishers (the tech and entertainment industry as a whole) to only ever expect exponential growth, without factoring in reference points and consumption be...
I'd actually argue it's likely more on Xbox, cuz what other relative exclusives are they playing instead?
I don't think anyone could have predicted how popular this game would be. But it's clear from reception that the market is hungry for an intense and intentional, cross platform co op experience.
Contrary to your arbitrary argument, this game didn't fail due to "wokeness" lol.
It’s easily one of the best rpgs of all time.
@poppatron yes, I wasn't implying the PSVR2 games became popular or well supported, only that Sony was considering the PC market an afterthought. I imagine more people will want to buy this when it works with PC. I know I will, as I play on both.
