Bringing it to Steam would definitely help too. Although I suspect getting a physical release is probably more likely, and even that doesn't look good.
How would you know who's played it or not? What about those who get into games years after their release? They can't now. Besides, and more importantly, this sets a bad precedent across the industry when it comes to game preservation and people's ability to enjoy what they've paid for.
The OG is the only one I recognize. Moving on.
A remake here and there of some deserving classics is fine and all, but I'd really rather see new IPs. Creativity is seriously lacking in the AAA market these days.

Thing is, I don't consider people a part of my "group" simply because of one shared single arbitrary physical trait. They're a part of my group if they think the same, and their ideals and virtues align with mine, etc. Other people that have white skin aren't my people just because they happen to share a skin pigment.

I don't see Sony forever sitting on such a beloved title that they have sole rights to, especially in the era where Fromsoft's formula is more popular than ever. It just seems like too much of a missed opportunity if they were to. I suspect they might have plans to remake it for the PS6, just like they did with DeS on the 5.
