I like all types of games. Most of my favorite games are solo games.

It’s just weird to me that so many people automatically hate this game, apparently just for the crime of having co-op.

And god forbid a game requires you to be online, even though you always are anyway.

Obviously and despite what you say, it isn't Single Player with which you have an issue so much as it is Sony has great Single Player titles. That seems to be the rock in your shoe. Perhaps you should point your dislike at Microsoft for failing to produce decent Single Player experiences.

With all of the PUBG chest thumping, all of the Fortnite, Battle Royal, Pro Gamer League(all MP), Overwatch, etc etc etc there is plenty of multiplayer talk here. And looking down on people is exemplified by resorting to personal attacks concerning their not having friends as the reason for their like of Single Player. Instead the truth is that some people enjoy engrossing Single Player games that do not require other people to get aboard their train in order to generate enjoyment.

Most of their games this gen haven't appealed to me. I liked Horizon: Zero Dawn quite a bit.

That's about it. None of their upcoming games really appeal to me either. I hated TLOU, I hate Hideo Kojima, I don't care about Spider Man, etc...

I'm not saying any of those are bad games, but I don't personally like them.

Compared to Destiny it does look pretty run of the mill as a shooter. However, I'm hopeful that the gameplay delivers but furthermore, yes, they learn where Bungie has failed and provide substantial content out the box with not only engaging end game but more of it. Either way, it looks worth picking up. Whether or not DLC/Season Pass is worth picking up will be dependent on how the game is and how I feel about it. Rather, whether it's best to go with Anthem, stick with Destiny or just shelve both

The flying feels slow to me, and the game feels stiff hopefully this and Days Gone fix things up before release. I really want this game to succeed, it looks like the next step for AAA mp games. And Dark Souls already did kind of implemented this concept in its own way by having no spoonfed story just lore and good atmosphere that makes you not feel alone. I'm sick of quick one more go games and I expect most to be f2p now and big games like this and mmos to be the opposite.

Another plus im getting from this is that each class shares its roles so a well balanced team is key for success.

People who are saying the shooting looks generic must not know theres most likely underlying gear and abilities that are controlling threat percentages. Maybe the tank and group are just that good?

I think its a two fold issue. One we are spoiled by lots of good games, and two none of the publishers are taking risks they are releasing the same stuff over and over again. Probably because at their core pretty much every AAA game released this gen is a last gen game. The only revolutionary mechanic this generation so far is Shadow of Mordor's Nemesis system.

The environments are pretty damn amazing, and the movement looks really fun. Cool that you can jetpack around and then just dive into water whenever you want. Shame it's yet another third person shooter though. Could also do without those spammy numbers when you shoot stuff.

so much green, same regions, clips shown as last year. you can fly everywhere ... woah! Thislooks boring as fuck. Few classes, play in coop and follow a story about "ancient ruins, technology" we have already seen or read.

They have shown nothing but the same clips (nearly the same) as last year. This game is suppose to come early 2019 ... suuuure. WE do not know anything about it, not even the classes you can choose. No background info, except for the green swamp dungenos filled with monsters you can face off (like Monster Hunter World, just not as good as MHW).

Gameplay wise "pewpew", visually not good looking ... gotta say that i´ve the BIGGEST aversion to the color GREEEEEEEEEEN (everything green, i get mad balls). What an ugly color (acid greed is ok). You mix green with nazi braun and you get the worst color combination in the world (greenbrown).

I had to play thru Diablo 2 (swamp level) so fast, it bored me to death to go thru that level. I simply cant play anything where green is predominatly displayed in your face. did i mention i hate the color green?

Gameplay seems interesting, but I have little faith in quality of gameplay and storytelling content after EA ruined Mass Effect franchise. Before Mass Effect: Andromeda was released officially, I had expected with every gameplay or cinematic trailer with excitement for return of this franchise, and reputation of Bioware Studio was acknowledged with previous KOTOR and Mass Effect for great storytelling and gameplay. However, Mass Effect: Andromeda turned out to be an unbelievable disaster with lots of glitchs and bad animation.

Wow, I used to love BioWare. Now I’m glad they are with EA so I will have no temptation to waste my money on the garbage they are becoming. Honestly when people are talking about the downfall of Rare I sometimes get it confused with BioWare’s last few attempts at game making.

EA bought Bioware and they began to slowly get worse and worse since that point. I hope this is them back on form.
