No Man's Sky designer Gareth Bourn left Hello Games behind and is now working on Squadron 42, the single-player module set in the Star Citizen universe.
Land on any planet in Star Citizen currently and you’ll be greeted by things like weather patterns, flora, and very possibly a derelict or two. What you won’t find are any animals, however. That’s going to change with alpha 3.23’s release, as CIG has finally put together two animals to populate certain planets. That’s not quite three, but it’s more than one!
Two brand-new animals? Fantastic. This game should be ready by the time the Vault Dwellers come out from their Vaults Two Hundred years after the Apocalypse.
Any minute now...
I really need to know when funding passes XX billion dollars. Please bless us with that update.
Welcome to March’s Squadron 42 development report. Enclosed you will find details on the latest progress made across the campaign, including planetary tech, ship behaviors, and fluff terminals.
If only we get a release date this year, but i think they will show new gameplay/trailer, at least i hope we get to play the game in 2025
Colored hairy pubes are now a thing ! See youi in 2456 when the game will be finished ... but you can still send us your money. Cheers
Today Cloud Imperium Games released new videos focusing on the upcoming major update for the growing space game Star Citizen.
Good luck, my friend.
Makes sense considering NMS shipped three months ago. GG contracted developers from CDPR to work on Horizon for their experience in RPGs. These things happen, but it's strange that a single no name developer helping on another game is news worthy... I'm not even giving my click bc this is obvious clickbait. They want ppl to glance at the headline and think it is Sean Murray that left. They call him NMS designer instead of developer and they use the word abandon instead of left. Obviously they have motives.
I gave in and clicked and it's trash. They claim NMS was arguably the worst reviewed game of the year.NMS wasn't even close. t's a 71 on Metacritic which is better than the likes of Mafia 3, Recore,Super Dungeon Bros, and certainly 7 Days to Die.
Guess they had a new opening in their Unmet Expectations Division.
people will not anything or anyone, associated with 'no mans sky' just quietly fade away.
at a base level No Mans Sky can be something huge, given if Hello Games had the money and time to do it on a grand scale...
single player sounds a lot like >=1
