I wish they knew that they could make the game in the original 2d style with loads of characters and features and people would still love it.

Unfortunately that's not the case and the game will most likely get a 3d revamp with the sf4 engine so we'll probably be stuck with the 16 most generic characters. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I honestly can't see MvC2 being topped in sheer content and options.

Word is that it will combine 3D and 2D kind of like what TVC did for the wii, except on PS3 and Xbox360. So it will be grand. And it will be A LOT MORE THAN 16 Characters.. As I wrote in the article, It is more than likely going to bring EVERYONE to the table. Capcom is saying they want to blow people away with the amount of characters. Time will tell.

This is all BS, Capcom lost the rights to Marvel games years ago, so there is NO CvM3 ok. Go do your research. The company that owns the rights is Activision,the same people that made Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

i mean, soul calibur 1 had decent mechanics but would you play that over a newer iteration? No, and the improved gameplay isnt the only reason you would say no. By comparison, the graphics are horrendous. Graphics may not matter as much as other aspects of a fighter like say gameplay, balancing and what not, but dont undermine its importance. if you spend alot of time playing them, you can appreciate a little eye candy. Blazeblue and Soul Calibur 4 running on a 1080p HD set come to mind...BB is simply stuning. I mean if your going to be staring at it, gripped in deep, furious combat(which you will) it should be pretty.....right?
