It is around 500k considering that GT5P boosted PS3 sales in EUrope by atleast 100k. so in total the difference would be as high as 400k/500k if you add europe and Japan

PS3 outsells x360 by atleast 2x in europe per week. You can look at the weekly charts of Spain/France/Germany/Italy for evidence.

in ITAY for instance GT5P sold 32k copies last week and was the top selling title on the charts . The only x360 title managed 1.5k copies RB6V.

In France/Germany /Spain you wont ever find an x360 game on the charts

The difference is just 5/6m at the moment.

It is lucky for SONY that X360 is dead in both EUROPE and JAPAN. You clearly read the MCVUK article which said that X360 got outsold by PS3 even during the week where it had the price cut.

This is fake. When the 360 RRODs, it isn't ACTUALLY overheating anymore. The Red rings mean the 360 already got too hot and the processors were damaged. Anyone who has gotten a Red Ring failure such as myself will tell you that when the red rings come on the console is actually producing less heat than when it is working, and the fans are barely running. The console is DEAD. It's only switching on to show you the red quadrants so you know to call support.

Well, I believe that Microsoft should've tested their hardware BEFORE they relesed it to consumers. People say the RROD issues are old, but if they are old why are there post about the 360 RRODing again on N4G. Maybe because it is not OLD news. Even my friends 360 had the RROD effect happen to them. Also, a cousin of mind had an elite whose 360 almost had a RROD(one light led it red), and this all happen recently. I mean whhy is that you don't hear mani recently news about the PS3 proving faulty or burning a persons house....

It's strange that they mention the recall in this story as the recall, if anyone had bothered to follow the link, was for the Xbox, not the Xbox 360.

As for it being the cause of the fire. I think the owner of the house is trying to gold dig his situation. I don't blame him but mentioning that his 360 was red ringing seems to be a bit strange. Wouldn't he have sent it away for a replacement if it was doing that? I know I would have.

The power cords were recalled for XBOX as well, I got a notice in the mail for mine.

I always wondered why the 360 creates so much heat. Even though it has an ungodly external power brick even the box itself get blazing hot. The fan is so loud it drowns out the games! It sounds like a PS3 when you do the fan test, which by the way is supposed to be hazardous for the console.

i usually make my own cables if i think they are out of proportion with the load they have to carry, if microsoft knows the load is too much for the cable why not make it thicker? why? because it requires more copper, copper costsmoney and they dont want to spend it, well microsoft, i use homemade cables out of 2 ought wire, if anythign is going to overheat or meltdown its going to be things in the console not the cable itself, now stop being cheap microshaft and get better cables
