EA want to bring EA Sports Active also to the PS3 and 360

Peter Moore said in an interview with Joystiq that they want to bring the EA Sports Active franchise to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with use of the Motion Sensing technique that they release in the future. And according to Sony, we already be using this new technique on the PlayStation 3 at the beginning of 2010.

Perhaps this is not the only game that EA Sports want to bring to the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. It is possible that there will be more similar games coming, perhaps including Grand Slam Tennis. With the advent of the new Motion Sensing technology from Sony is a world open to many casual gamers who are looking for games to improve their health. How you can improve your health, is shown in the trailer.

Great news.
I was just discussing this on the Bitbag forums.
I was considering getting a Wii + Wii fit or EA Sports active for the GF but with the announcement of the PS3 motion controllers I was hoping EA Sports Active would be coming to PS3.

I already have a PS Eye, so all i'll need is the controllers.
This will save me lots of money =)

Thats pretty cool, but I'd like to see someone develope a game specifically for SONYs motion controller like say, an RPG where you can walk around at the same time using the sword and arrows like in the demo. I know some don't like moton controls but I think there are some cool things that can be done with them.

reason why i buy no Ea games

lodossrage4416d ago

What the heck is wrong with EA. Some of those games aren't even two years old. Hardly even a year and a half some of them.

And they only JUST put that simpsons game on psn and xbl, and they're pulling the plug already?

Yeah I'm glad I got that as a PS plus game because I'd be pissed if I bought that

Dark_Overlord4416d ago

I think you may have got the wrong simpsons game, the one spoken about in the article is this one

Ok now I'm not too upset lol. Plus the one I meant isn't even made by EA lol

Thanks

EA need to change their business tactics, it's obvious they are bleeding money even with all the sports franchises they hold.

Lans from TecStories writes: I've been avoiding games like UFC trainer or Zumba Fitness like the plague, writing them completely as casual fitness fads, I've just started an exercise regime and was looking for an interactive game that would keep me interested in exercising for a while. I decided to browse around the web for decent games that burn fat. What i found was Zumba Fitness, UFC Trainer and EA Sports Active.
