This is great. I only wish I had gotten to it soon enough to contribute. Can't wait to play it.
Stay awhile and listen... to me having the best time of my life on Tuesday.... in bed.
Playing Diablo 3
I've been holding on to a Best Buy gift card for this. Easy day one purchase.
Thank you PC gaming.
Political intrigues.
All of modern and not so modern literature, movies and games takes ideas from things seen before. This is nothing new and seems rather odd he would have a problem with it. I mean, if a person were to examine this man's writing, I'm sure they could find any number of themes and ideas that were lifted from other sources.
I tried to get the beta working during the weekend, but after 30 or so attempts I still couldn't even download the main game files. Oh well. Looking forward to this game. Diablo is one of the best franchises this industry has created.
Hmm, perhaps. But, you could always look at it from the flip side to that coin. Without the people who produce something that you actually enjoy and want, you would have nothing to complain about. Well, other than the lack of something to complain about.
Make no mistake, I don't have a problem with people complaining, but get a grip and understand that it takes talent and drive to make any kind of artistic expression or creative undertaking. It's a commodity that is h...
Great MIDI.
Probably 1st day PC purchase for me. Weird that it's release is a Friday, but they wanted 11 11 11.
Usually Tuesday or Thursday, when the shipments come for retailers.
This is a 40 year old man, acting this way...
I might like to play games at 30 years old, but I know how to act and I know how to be a man.
Personally, I think this is just a way for him to get publicity, because he can't be this stupid for real.
Al Gore is a globalist, liar and profiteer.
I don't think anyone is actually expecting 'God in a disc.'
From everything I seen and heard, it's going to be a great game.
@Ashriel - While this is all true, you are missing the point. It's great that you can excrete your words like rancid diarrhea, but I don't see a need.
They could have made it much more faithful to the original and it would have done very well. There are ways to incorporate the same game play and concepts, without alienating a newer generation.
Keep that sparkle in your eye and that skip in your step sunshine.
I mean, I think most people who have a memory of playing the originals understood that the chances of them creating something even remotely like them was about as likely as a politician telling the truth, it's still a bummer to hear.
Recreating that for a console audience, would be like giving a TI86 calculator to a snail and expecting it to graph a function. It sounds good in theory, but the snail just doesn't have the thumbs...
Wow, big fan of the originals, huh?
While I think it looks decent even on the 360, I can clearly see differences in quality on the PC side. If you look at those comparison pictures, you can see less detail on the buildings and textures, as well as lighting effects that are simply missing from the Xbox version.
But hey, at least people who would not have gotten to try it out will now get a chance to.
I've been playing on my PC and it's been a great experience.
Daggerfall is a great game. I would highly recommend anyone who is an RPG fan to give it a go.
I'm not talking about a mod dktxx2, I'm talking about using a platform's strengths. Many developers have created Hi-resolution textures and other assets that can take advantage of scalable resources. It's not like it is never done. I've been a player of Bethesda's games since the early 90's, so I like what they do, but I think they could stand to do that with their offerings. It doesn't mean I'm not going to get the game or enjoy it, it's just my opini...
Very cool. Shadowrun is a much beloved franchise for me personally. The last game they made which was a multiplayer frag fest type entry was a gross disappointment.
