Many of the big games last year were 1080p. And that was before direct x12. They will be fine if they know what they are doing. If tomb raider and dying light can be 1080p or right next to it, this can.
Too bad rise of the tomb raider is just as good as this game, so no, this isn't the end of Xbox. Pretty silly to think otherwise.

@rayman, um not even close. I know what's available on both systems. I'd like a ps4 for bloodborne, and to a lesser extent, uncharted. But most of the exclusives are lackluster TO ME. I even pointed out in my original post there is just not enough reason for me to purchase a ps4. I have had roommates who had itit, I used it. The problem is the exclusives don't justify it to me. And there is more diversity then I could have imagined on Xbox, there might well be for ps4 as well, but...
My brother bought this game for us. It's a good game. Just because it's not YOUR cup of tea, doesn't make the game crummy. That's 12 year old logic. Games for gold is about giving us unique experiences, and that's what Sherlock Holmes is. If you don't like it, why whine and complain, calling it crummy when there are way worse games they have gave us? Talk about being entitled.
love my xbox one. easily the best console Ive ever had, and ive had them all except for the Wii U and ps4. Not much interested in either of those.

@captain obvious.um not even close. Ps4 has had bloodborne and last of us remake. The Xbox one exclusives are mostly all super good. Nice try though. Look at the reviews for both system exclusives. Microsoft's has been knocking it out of the park while most of Sony has been meh.

The old tomb raiders aged horribly, and are practically shit now. If you think they should have stuck to the same formula to this day, you need to wake up.
