Definitely seems like something they would do. Not like they can't afford to, either.

Don't worry, Microsoft will throw as much money as it takes at EA to make the two versions look the same, even though the devs are clearly capable of using the PS4 to its full potential.

They just can't help it, can they? Whether it's trying to fuck over their own fan-base with all their DRM bullshit or fucking over other gamers by throwing money at publishers to create artificial exclusivity of content (which 90% are either only timed or at best distinctly average), Microsoft just can't resist the urge of fucking over consumers as much as possible. Honestly one of the most toxic things to have happened to the video-game industry.

Didn't the WiiU also sell out? Also pre-orders selling out doesn't actually tell you how many have been sold out, so it means little.

I think TV will reign as the streaming TV hub of the future.

All those SE games which were 360-exclusive were most likely the result of MS throwing money at them in an attempt to try and compete in the Japanese market. Despite this, they still failed in that market.

It's strange to see both of the games you go multi-platform. I suppose FFXIII was an indication of their plans in terms of platforms they would work with, but KHIII really was a surprise. KHIII on the PS4 and the WiiU, I could see and definitely understand, but on a pl...

Even if some multi-platform games were going to look better on PS3 for whatever reason, we wouldn't have seen that due to Microsoft's content parity policy or whatever, where they said they would not allow a game to be released on the 360 if it didn't look at least as it did on the PS3. Of course, devs didn't have a choice but to adhere to the policy, unless they wanted to lose 50% of potential sales. Hopefully it won't happen this gen so developers can use the PS4 to its ...

No. The answer is no.

Specs don't matter when you can just threaten to not allow a game to be released on your platform if it doesn't look as good as it does on the competition's hardware, thereby forcing developers to make the game look equal across all platforms.

I'm excited about what the PS4 will be capable of but I don't want a repeat of this generation - The quality of multiplatform games being held back by inferior hardware. It's sad thinking about how much better some games could've been if they had remained exclusive, or if the 360 wasn't as weak as it was.

How do you know I'm a 'blind hater'? How do you know I haven't played FFXIII, and formed my opinion based off of the experience I had? While I don't know exactly what everyone wants, from what I can gather, FFXIII wasn't universally loved by fans of the FF series, and many were surprised by the announcement of just one sequel (let alone two), seeing as how the first one wasn't that popular.

And judging by comments on N4G, IGN and most gaming sites,...

A sequel which no one asked for to a sequel which also no one asked for, to a game which no one liked, delaying the production of two games which people ARE asking for and actually WANT, in Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Great.

So they say 'mission accomplished' now that GeoHot isn't being sued by Sony? Despite their claims, their motives, quite clearly, were not to 'protect gamers'. I don't even remember anyone asking for their 'protection'.

Someone should tell them that wearing Guy Fawkes masks doesn't make them look 'cool' or 'intimidating'. It just makes them look like a bunch of nerds who are too scared to show their faces, which I guess was the look they were going for?

I like the bit where they say they're on the side of the customers, then proceed to attack a service used by the customers.

*facepalm*

This is what happens when you give people the freedom to do whatever they want. I'm not saying freedom is a bad thing, it's just a shame that it gets abused by people who honestly don't even deserve to be alive.

Seeing as things such as 'quality' and 'fun' are subjective, he has the right to post whatever review score he wants. However, it doesn't mean you have to acknowledge it.

Don't. This is coming from the same people who think Modern Warfare 2 is better than Black Ops.

"Kinect chief Kudo Tsunoda has told VG247 that 360’s incoming motion tech could only work on the Microsoft hardware."

Why is this news? If you design something specifically for the 360, surely it would only work for the 360? It should only be news if people discover that Kinect could be used with the PS3, or something.
