I dint really know too much about his character or story but i get what you're saying gameplay wise. Its like LBP when you see all those 2-4 player areas that you cant access, it bothers you.
I guess it still has appeal to me because even if it isnt a good horror game anymore but just a good co-op game its still a win because i have a friend who i play a lot of co-op games with and we're always looking for something new to play.

Well if it was split screen i could always watch my friends screen to see whats going on and whereas online i would actually have to explain it to him or vice versa. I cant say if its going to be revolutionary or even a good idea but i definitely find it interesting.

yea that's always a possibility as well. There are a lot of games this gen that i think left that feature out for that sole purpose.

So you will will get the old Dead Space 1 & 2 feel supposedly.

Actually from what i have read having splitscreen would actually break one of the features of the game.
Apparently the co-op partner in the game is kind of insane and while you play one character my see things the other might not.
Like an elevator full of toys while the main character may see nothing and one player might see a guy to chase after but he wont see the enemies and issac would have to cover him and wonder what the hell he is doing.

Yea that seems likely to be the first to go free and rope you in to buy some dlc after, cause its an old game that shows off a lot of the vitas features.
Wipeout seems like a good one for them as well.
As for a big/full title to go free they may give Unit 13.
Im just waiting to see anything on LBP vita like a discount or whatever and then regardless im going to buy it after plus drops.
You would think that digital sales would be easier to track. I mean im sure sony has a counter as to how much each game has sold.
But i guess those numbers stays under wraps which is strange. Hopefully they become more open about it in the future and not just say what is on top of the charts.

He fails to realize the reason sony makes great games as well as original games that takes risks is to support their console.
If the game flops it doesnt matter because its about pushing their console and the console makes them money through royalties etc. If they dont have a console to push then the effort and risks they take will not be as great. They may even turn to a sub par developer. Almost every game Sega made used to be great when they had a console to push. But not ...

Alpha protocol was a game with so much potential. It had some kinks but I still really enjoyed it.

If Sony isnt willing to make the investment to make a fully fledged ps3 heavenly sword sequel because of dev cost vs sales concerns then i wouldnt mind getting a sequel on the vita from Ready at Dawn.
Might push some consoles as well for those yearning for a sequel.
