9 for graphics? Really? I mean, really?? I think that's a bit of a stretch even for Halo. For starters the graphics engine for this game was outdated in 07. Sure art style counts for something, but unless they resurrected Leonard Da Vinci to do the art then it's certainly no 9. Considering the environments still look bland, and boxish I'd say giving this game a low 6 for graphics would have been overly generous. The game quite frankly is butt ugly on all fronts.
It's not the hardware limitations, it's the developers. As they say, "the proof is in the pudding." There are studio's developing for the PS3 that have released some of the top tier games of this gen. Might I add games much more complex than L4D or anything in the Orange Box. Personally I don't care for Valve, but I'm not saying they're bad by any means. They just don't want to take the time to learn the Ps3 architecture, and that's their loss in part of the market. Go away HHG you have zero credibility. If I remember correctly you also said Ninja Blade was going to be better than GoW3. Just like everything else you spout off about I'll believe it when I see it. The footage at E3 looked like a polished product. They're going to be finishing then tweaking, not improving the graphics.
They should have used the black costume for the game. It'd be awesome to be able to unlock the costume at least.
I really thought Prototype would be the better game, but boy was I wrong. Infamous is the most fun I've had with a game in years. By far the best open world game I've played. Prototype on the other hand was a huge disappointment

Snake will always be THE ultimate bad @$$ game character. As for new characters this gen, Nathan Drake has personality. Man the Ps3 line up is just one killer exclusive after another.
I thought Prototype would be better, but after playing both I can honestly say Infamous slaughters the competition. Easily the best open world game I've ever played.
I played it at my friends house, and honestly I was disgusted with the graphics. Everything is plain, looks the same, not enough variety in vehicles, lacking color pallet, and the textures look like they came straight out of a Ps2 game. Sure there's a ton going on, but honestly it was a mess, and too chaotic with pedestrians running around all over the place like chickens with their heads cut off.
The game is not really getting 4's.
