There was this old PC game that I think had Health/Medic down. Think it was called "Global Operations". When you were down, a medic comes up to you and inject a shot with a needle to stablize you. And if you were not 100% health, your TOTAL health would decrease slowly so as you will not be able to get back to 100% health.
This makes ppl need medics and not go ramble with less than 10% health. And this would make it more realistic as you can't be revived with 1...

ah but there is some enjoyment to camping. Ever snipe someone from a air transport hovering over the silo (capture) point in BF 2142 at 300+ meters?
Camping at 1 spot on the 2nd floor, harassing the players who try to capture a silo, popping a claymore, proning in the corner hoping he doesn't have a buddy with him, pulling out your pistol in waiting.
The feeling of accomplishment and the thrill of hiding and running away from your hunters, its a rush.
