He even mentioned the casualization of sex. That's certainly not a topic that gets covered (or even mentioned) as often as it should.
I actually liked it a lot. The only RPG I liked better was Valkyria Chronicles. But Last Remnant had a good story too.
Oh, that's right, I'm talking to people who are too afraid to let two good things coexist. Typical fanboys.
This was a PC demo you moron.
Underrated as in not very many people played those games.
Uh. Wow. And this is coming from a guy who can't put words in the right order, can't tell the difference between "should" and "shouldn't", and can't split two unrelated sentences into two separate lines?
Before you go off and (fail to) correct someone's spelling, make sure you've passed third grade remedial English first.
Unless you're Yoda.
The people who fall for anything on TV like that deserve to be duped anyways.
You know those iPod commercials where they were swinging around the iPod and it was leaving behind streams of color and light? Yeah, uh, I had like 3 friends who actually thought that they could light up. *whistle*
HAS SHOOK
Real reason: "numberpads are nerdy."
This is the kind of reason why I have so much respect for EA now. They're using everything they've made from franchising and invested it into new IP's, taking risks on innovative experiments. They've done away with their old selves and instead seek to do things different.
Dead Space and Mirror's Edge may not have been breakthroughs, but they're steps in the right direction. And EA should keep doing what they're doing, trying new things, and improving from there.
Noticed no difference for campaign. Still feel lots of input delay.
Controller input delay =/= realism.
GRiD and GT5 are simulators. It's a different breed than arcade racers, which is where most NFS games have traditionally stood (aside from the horrific ProStreet).
The gameplay is what defines how "tactically" you play. The input delay is an entirely different issue.
This is a good read. I recommend sending it to all your friends and family.
You can remember vague memories of the emotions you experienced during that time. It really depends on the person, but some people don't remember their entire childhood at all, while others have it burned into their retinas.
When you pull the trigger of a small firearm, does it take 200-500 milliseconds for it to spit out a bullet? In very rare cases and with certain weapons, yes. If properly maintained, no. It will fire instantly.
I also know for a fact that I can respond faster in real life with a pistol than I can in Killzone 2. It does not take me an entire half a second to aim my weapon 45 degrees to the right.
Before anyone goes and yells "it's not lag, it's realism", gu...
Halo and Killzone are uncomparable. They might be first person shooters, but the game mechanics are wildly different. Apples to oranges.
Why don't you all get off your high chairs and just agree that both games have their merits for completely different reasons? Oh, right. Because you think somehow putting a game disc in your console makes your d*ck bigger.
Oh c'mon. They used freakin' VERDI. How can you not love an advertisement with Verdi in it.
I can't make out anything in the mod description. All I see are a bunch of foreign acronyms. I have no idea what this mod does.
If these guys were in business marketing their company would tank.
I like how he spent two seconds on Riviera and skipped the whole relationship/dialogue character development aspect of it, which makes up like 75% of the game. Granted, it's nothing special (compared to the typical Japanese market at least), but it's important enough to merit at least a mention, and unique enough in America to draw some attention.
