If they wanted to have choice, they should include HD-DVD in it and the price should remain $479. Why? If I dont want HD-DVD, I would just go for core and buy 120gb hard disk. You don't need HDMI if you dont intend to play HD-DVD. That's why, they should by all mean include HD-DVD because they already have 2 non-HDDVD SKU. Criterion, if you really hardcore about how good PS3 is, make it a PS3 exclusive game. Dont go multi platform then say PS3 got the goods than the rest. Wanna play safe yet wanna to take side.
Despite the additional effort on PS3, Gamespot will still give XBOX 360 higher score. The reason will be.. "additional functionality spoiled the funs".

Just want to point out that, If PS2 outselling Wii and XBOX 360, that's not a good thing for nexgen. XBOX 360 may lost it demand, but with the new Elite coming up, it will definately bump up the sales.
