I'm actually interested to see how Driver does. Brings back a lot of memories for me. I know the last try at it was HORRIBLE!!!! Maybe they'll get it right this time.

Agreed. The exclusives have good replay value. But I think that you need quality AND quantity when it comes to this topic. Granted...Most developers now don't want to lose out on the potential revenue and multi plat is the bread winner. But what sells a console and keeps people coming back for more are the exclusives. We need more than some sequels to look forward to. There has to be something fresh...Something groundbreaking. Something that sets your console apart from the rest.
MS hasn't been known for making the best strategic decisions. I guess when you have a bottomless pit of money you feel that you can take a year off on a chance with Kinect. I really hope they didn't decide to put all their focus on Kinect becoz then you will be neglecting the VAST MAJORITY of people who made this console the success it was in the first place. I have seen in the past where MS has been quiet about things in the first part of the year and then suddenly everything star...

Yeah. that's marketing for you. You think he's going to say. Well....this year is going to suck. I would appreciate the honesty but it would be counter productive. I agree. They better have something in mind to blow our minds. Things were good last year...but I've seen better years.
All this means to me is that more Kinect games will be developed. I got one. And I was scared that this was going to tank and fall under (Like the Dreamcast....Which was amazing by the way). I seriously hope MS doesn't lose sight of the core gamers though. It'll be interesting to see how this year goes.
I have. Although I'm more of a core gamer. I bought this for my kids. However, Yourshape ended up getting used by my wife and I. it's not perfect but it does pretty well.

I don't see a reason to defend any console. Unless you work for the company that makes it. You do realize it's just a piece of hardware. Right?
Is Sony better than MS? Is MS better than Sony? I don't really mention Wii coz I don't really have an interest in it (Not saying it sucks). I dunno. I guess I can only ask the PS3 group right now. My question are to the gamers who never got the Wii and are now moving into this genre. Is it pulling you away from the controller games? Is it just a fad? Do you see yourself getting bored with it easily? is it worth it?
I really want to know since I'm thinking about getting one of these things but was never really into this level of interactivity. Would hate to waste the money on something that's eventually just ...

Did you try the Kinect? I'm wondering if you did since you are complaining about it's responsiveness.
I haven't had a chance to try the Move yet so I'm not even going to begin to say that one is better than the other. I think it'll be a matter of personal preference anyway. But MS setup a demo of the Kinect at my job a month ago and I got a chance to really try this out (Ran a 200 Yard Dash and felt like I was going to die...
