It's not an update unless it has already been reviewed by the entity. People arrive at decisions on hardware at different times.

Just tell us you hate consoles, just come out with already. Carmack is supposed to be a legend but he's acting like a fanboy. Nobody else is having any problem developing on consoles so what does that say about him?

My point was just to bring to attention the lack of decent ad campaigns for new IPs, which probably doesn't help the fact that making games without a number after them scares the crap out of some developers. The games that get the best sales usually have big ad campaigns and they manage to get huge sales despite not being even close to the top quality games offered today.

Uncharted and Gears won't compete, anybody with both systems who like TPS will get both, anybody with one system will get its exclusive.
All I know is I had very few problems with Fallout 3, tons in New Vegas, and Obsidian is known even more than bethesda for very glitchy games. A few issues won't stop me from enjoying a great experience, but when it freezes almost every time you play it's kind of hard. Obsidian has massive pop in problems as well.
Never let Obsidian make your games for you.
At the end of the day the services are roughly the same and people still have to pay for Live and all rate hikes. Cross Game chat isn't worth that price.

Loved the orchestra in Dante's Inferno, it was really cool to hear them use it on the History channel for that special on Hell.
No clue why people don't like that game, it's a masterpiece.
