Yep, at Walmart the other night, had a few Xbox Ones in the case, but completely sold out of PS4s.
Not exactly an accurate way to judge how they're selling but its impressive to see how well the PS4 appears to be doing so far.
Real gamers don't play Nintendo games? Guess I'm not a real gamer then... My entire life has been one big lie.
I thought I was in love until I read...
"I’d have to go for the Xbox 360 (soon to be Xbox One!). I think it has the best graphics."
Please leave. No one here wants to read anything you have to say if you're here to troll.
The launch lineup is actually pretty good on both next-gen systems. Especially when you compare them to previous generations.
Yes, I'm aware of that. I was saying November 12th, the rumored PS4 release date (before they announced it as the 15th), could actually end up being the Xbox One launch date instead.
My god, the fights that would break out in line ... I would be legitimately scared to wait out for my PS4 if these things launch on the same date.
If it isn't the 8th, that doesn't give them a lot of options. 22nd would be one week after the PS4 launch, and dangerously close to Black Friday. Not a good launch date IMO.
Of course there is always the long-rumored PS4 release date, November 12th. That seems like a date Microsoft would go with to me. 11.12.13
Great marketing date and it gives them a three day head start.
It'll definitely outsell the original Xbox, it has built up a loyal user base and they appeal to a much wider audience than they did a decade ago.
In the US, I see the market share being around 60/40 (between MS and Sony) in Microsoft's favor but as far as worldwide sales, I think they'll take a beating.
Loved that conference. The only thing I was hoping for that we didn't get was a trailer for Media Molecule's PS4 game.
November 15th, I'm there day one.
Nothing petty about it, Microsoft and Sony take shots at each other all the time.
Just like when Microsoft said they were going to "kill Sony at E3" .. then proceeded to take one of the worst beatings in history.
The demo was called PlayRoom. It comes pre-installed on every PS4.
Before I would have placed my bet on November 12th (for US), but I trust Cboat, everything is pointing towards late October right now.
It seems a little too soon for them to be announcing their internet TV service, they reached an agreement less than 24 hours ago. That seems more like a 2014 unveiling to me, but who knows, if the infrastructure has already been in development for a while maybe they're ready to show it off now.
All I really want to see from Sony at Gamescom is the PS4 launch dates confirmed, Media Molecule's PS4 game and a few new Vita titles announced. I'm pretty confident we'...
I feel like its too heavily integrated at this point to not include it in every box. But its nice that you now have the option of unplugging it if you just wanna get naked and play video games (or do other things).
This changes everything
Haven't played it on PS3 yet, if the Vita version looks good I might pick it up.
double post, sorry.
Agree 100%, as much as I love those games, new IPs and reviving classic franchises would be much more exciting going into next-gen.
I need more Last of Us from Naughty Dog tho. That's my only request.
Biggest surprise ever?
Other than a major exclusive being announced, the only thing I could think of would be those AR glasses that have been rumored for a while now.
Or maybe an Xbox tablet?
